As the owner of a personal training company, Look Like You Lift, Braydon helps people strength train and get mentally and physically healthy, which sometimes means helping them address their addiction to pornography and begin to heal. Braydon shares his own personal story of being exposed to pornography at a young age and how it affected him throughout his adolescence, including how it affected his relationships and how he saw others. In this episode, Braydon discusses the importance of being open about your struggle with porn in order to combat shame, why he discusses the benefits of quitting porn with clients, and the conversations he’s been able to start by wearing Fight the New Drug shirts to the gym.

Some of these comments are just so insensitive. I appreciate the vulnerability your guest showed on this podcast. Porn has a tight grip on peoples lives. And the amount of porn on the internet just keeps increasing. Making it easier and easier to find, and harder and harder to get away from. Thanks for sharing! It was inspiring
Starting this year ….porn consumption is considered cheating ….so online emotional affairs , sexting , having accounts on dating websites …..so ….if u ever want to be in a relationship you better get rid of all of these above .
I'm in an open relationship where actual sex with other partners isn't cheating, so I don't think so!🤣
@@kenofken9458 …your brain is highjacked by all the false chemistry you release in your body ….good luck to you as brain diseases are being developed …..learn some neuroscience ….as far as the open relationship thing ….🤢 …not very healthy ….

Thanks for sharing this is a fight now I have to take on and get it sorted.
According to sociologists Scheff and Retzinger (2000) , shame is the master emotion, an emotion that undercuts all other difficult feeling states.
I was doing good, then cocaine really ruined it because if youre awake 3 4 5 in the morning or even all night what else is there to do
You said that rite, brother.
Read a book, watch a movie or draw a picture.
@@coldbluesteel9946 you have obviously never struggled with cocaine. Thats good.
Always have a full schedules sports, movies, books about what ever your intrested in, or just get up of the bed and go to the kitchen and reorganize those shelves
There is no excuse.
Excuses fuel addiction.
