Lots of goodies John! Love the Oh’s and Fidrych auto! The first Puerto Rican pitcher and player was Hiram Bithorn, he played in the 40s. The largest baseball stadium Puerto Rico is named after him.The Red Sox had a Puerto Rican pitcher in the early 70s too Rogelio Moret. Big Papi! I have that Sam Don Newcomb Korean War card! Yaz! 😁
Johnny Rodgers, yes! Man, I loved the old backs, I always enjoyed the little tidbits in those sets. Great looking Watt RC too. He's fun to watch. I saw Tomlin got an extension. I'm a big fan of his. Great cards, as always, John!
Love the variety videos John. Awesome 78 Topps especially the Burger King versions with single image cards of Trammell, Whitaker, and Morris. What a crew of great talent that came up together for the Tigers that put it all together in 84 for a World Series title. Love the old Parkhurst hockey cards of the original 6 teams.
Awesome stuff as usual. I enjoy the variety of cards like so many other watchers do. And I agree with you, the '78 Reggie is one of the best cards ever.
Johnny "The Jet" Rodgers was my guy growing up. He can be seen often in our area. He is still moving pretty good. Paul Krause was a heck of a baseball player too. I think he was an All-American at Iowa. But you are right, not many safeties holding the kick. Dave Humm held kicks for the Raiders, but he was a QB so that makes more sense.
Love the random card showings as well. You have some really great autos in this showing. Looks like your making some really good progress with your personal collection in the mags. Thanks for sharing it all with us.
Always fun to see what you have to show. Really enjoyed the tiger cards from Burger King. Nice to see those three players on their own card during their rookie seasons. Thanks for sharing.
I like the football card of the safety being a place holder. Those sorts of oddities I am surprised aren’t more collectible. Skenes is becoming one of my favorite new players to watch. Thanks for showing all the cards. Very cool!
Super nice cards being shared. My favorite would have to be the Burger King Lou Whitaker, one of our hometown heroes in VA. You showed the Alex Delvechio hockey card from the 50s and it got me wondering about something. I wonder if Al’s character on Happy Days came from a hockey player? 🤔 Thanks for sharing.
There's a great image of Skenes from his last start. It's seconds after Ohtani took him yard and he just can't help having a big goofy smile on his face watching it go. Awesome 'welcome to the Big Leagues' moment. I hope they make a Topps Now card of it.
Billy White shoes! I'm going to pick up one of his autos one of these days. Some of the modern products have issues with him in the signatures series. Great player.
You’ve been busy slabbing, John! The Calbees of Oh are great looking cards. Sweet Candyman auto… I think Hiram Bithorn is the first pitcher from PR. Nice Mariano Rivera auto and Ichiro patch card with a little dirt.
Gave a video like. The Paul Krause is a really cool card. Fun to hear about Billy Johnson. I really enjoy those Sadaharu Oh cards too. Great photos on them. Always enjoy seeing some golf cards, you are one of the only people I know who will show them. The Mariano Rivera card is sweet! Need to grab a nicer card of him to better represent him in my collection.
Great cards John. Especially that 1st Mr. Oh. Hiram Bithorn Sosa was the 1st to play and pitch in MLB from PR. I did a 5th grade report on him in 1978. Rod Carew was one of my favorites and I had already done a book report on him trying to become the 1st player since Ted Williams to hit .400. He played 5 years before Jackie Robinson in 1942 for Chicago Cubs & White Sox. He was murdered by a corrupt Mexican police officer when he was only 35 years old. Tight assed Mrs.Gilbert, John F Baldwin elementary, Danville Ca. gave me a B+ because i didn’t indent my paragraphs! Some wounds never heal John! Cheers buddy 🥃
Hiram Bithorn in the 40s was the first PR pitcher to pitch and Gacho Torres was the first player from PR to play in the late 20s. Great cards show. Please don't show too many OH cards I would like to buy more before the other freaks start to catch on lol
I just recently tried to buy a 62 Myron pottios. Wasn't willing to pay a premium for a exmt card. I've been looking for youtubers that talk football more. I thought I found one until he showed a RC of offensive tackle Merlin Olsen. OMG

Very nice variety showcase. Love those vintage hockey cards and the Oh’s from Calbee are great. Dig those Burger King cards too.
Awesome video John. Love the Josh Gibson art card.

That is a great selection of cards. I really enjoyed A.J. Burnett’s time with the Pirates too.
Excellent showcase John..😍😮 Love the OPC and variety as always..🤗 Have fun and be safe Salute..🥃🎉😅❤🔥🤙
What a variety. I love it especially that papi and yaz at the end.

Thanks for watching.
I like when Mangini shows all cards. Not just a variety! Great video John!
Thanks
Thanks for sharing, John. Remember reading the backs of the cards not just for the stats, but other interesting facts about the players.
I remember Johnny Rodgers up here, played for the Montreal Alouettes..if memory serves....nice showcase

Tuesdays at 8. Loved Happy Days
Thanks for sharing your cards.
Thanks for looking at them
Very nice cards, thanks for showing

He threw 5 fastballs past Ohtani without him even touching the ball. The 6th one went over the centerfield wall. Pure baseball theater right there!
Great stuff John
I grew up watching Johnny Rodgers play at the stadium in Lincoln,NE. He was a great football player at that time.
Billy White shoes! I'm going to pick up one of his autos one of these days. Some of the modern products have issues with him in the signatures series. Great player.
In Nebraska we call Johnny Rodgers The Jet! He still resides in Omaha. Seen him at the Huskers Red/White game last year.
Love those burger kings and the miscut Reggie!
I remember Johnny Rodgers I haven’t heard his name in years.
You’ve been busy slabbing, John! The Calbees of Oh are great looking cards. Sweet Candyman auto… I think Hiram Bithorn is the first pitcher from PR. Nice Mariano Rivera auto and Ichiro patch card with a little dirt.
I love learning something new!
Candy Man was awesome, but the first Puertorican pitcher was Hiram Bithorn. Don’t think he has any cards. 😢 Thanks for the great content.

Still have to get that Parrish RC! I always liked him
Paul Krause is from Flint, MI where I was born and raised.
You have a great collection
Thanks
I remember Elmo Wright WR chiefs doing the first TD dance in the early 70’s my best friend was a KC fan
You remember Elmo! 😂
Been buying a ton of vintage hockey love it
Yea it’s great

Haha no they don’t

Hahaha ok!
@@MrJmangini lol brotha j/k . I've been grabbing Nagashima and Bessho too. The Japanese cards are exciting to collect!
Yes they are fun. Opens up a whole new world of collecting. And for the most part a lot cheaper.
Paul Skenes has been amazing. What’s the over under on games before his elbow blows out and he needs TJ??? 😂😂😂 Sad but probably true.
Don’t they all these days
Since your doing the doctor evil face im stopping to say hi friend!!
Haha that wasn’t intentional but it it does look like it.
JM...did you know that Jocko Fields' manager allowed him to smoke cigarettes while playing catcher? Did ya JM???
Yes I did actually
I just recently tried to buy a 62 Myron pottios. Wasn't willing to pay a premium for a exmt card.
I've been looking for youtubers that talk football more. I thought I found one until he showed a RC of offensive tackle Merlin Olsen. OMG
Hahaha
Wasn’t Al Delvecchio on Happy Days?
Haha yea
cheers
Cheers
I wonder if you rubbed a little dirt on those toilet paper looking patch cards you’d triple the “value”. Hmmm.
Haha
Sticking a card in a magnetic with a custom label is not slabbing a card. I hope someone does a rant video about this.
You should do one
