I know many persons male and female, that have come from these areas and worked hard to make better of themselves. I don't really get how so many people are willing to give content creators, specifically who create sensational content like Chris, a pass. It blows my mind. I can say from experience commenting on his videos he hates any opinion that is not like his own. He deletes comments all the time. He is a freaking grown adult. He's travelled the world. He knows each place he goes has laws. He knows that he might piss people off in those countries because of his content. There is a whole class of creators on YT like Chris. I don't need to name names. But they have gone to places like Cuba, Russia, Haiti in order to create sensational content for views and to get paid by YT sometimes they have faced serious consequences for doing so. Chasing the algorithm for that viral video. Chris knows what he is doing no matter how "nice of a guy" he is to people in his personal interactions. He's been kicked out of a country before. This is definitely not his first rodeo. Any professional YT content creator would be stupid not to thoroughly investigate the laws of a country they are going to visit if their intention is to chase down the most shocking and controversial subject matter they can find and understand what they are facing and the potential risks. To not do so and then feign stupidity is the most narcissistic western world BS I can think of. Poor Chris... No. He knew what he was doing. And I heard the recording of his interview where he blatantly is lying about his tourist visa and his intentions in the country - oh, I'm a tourist and I film fisherman and fruit vendors and I upload the videos... It's there for everyone to listen to. YT is his job. His videos generate income for him. Looks like maybe they can add perjury to the list of charges. He brought to our knowledge the level of gang activities that takes place right under our noses. Prior to him posting those videos, I had no idea we had so many gangs in Trinidad. At no point in time did he condone their behaviour or act seditious according to the sedition act. Even the police officers told him the arrest would be a joke, but clearly the some officals are offended that he interviewed gang members.

Sedition? I thought you had to be a citizen of a country to be charged with sedition? David tell your friend not to go to other countries and put people with criminal intentions on film. As far as I can tell, you do not interfere with politics on your visits to foreign countries. I'm from Trinidad and I've seen couple of his videos and I know he's well intended. However , most persons outside of Trinidad knows very little about the crime rate on this little island. I don't really get how so many people are willing to give content creators, specifically who create sensational content like Chris, a pass. It blows my mind. I can say from experience commenting on his videos he hates any opinion that is not like his own. He deletes comments all the time. He is a freaking grown adult. He's travelled the world.
