    I made this but I used Insulbrite for stabilzer as i always seem to turn off iron to late at quilt class and so it is sometimes hot in the case. No problem though. Very handy idea thank you Minki Kim

    Very impressed at your end product. I feel it would help though, and I would use a tacking stitch for the top and bottom panel inserts, easily removed once you've gone round with the machine.

    This is so cute and useful. I have wanted to make one for awhile, now. But I am wondering if the snaps are really strong enough to carry it with the iron inside? I would hate for the snap to come undone and for my iron to fall and break! 😬

      Thank you for watching. If it’s for your mini iron like mine, you don’t need to worry about that. If you want to enlarge and make for big iron, I would stitch the handle a few times.

    Hi Kim, I purchased your pattern for this little iron and I also ordered the zippers from your shop. Did you sew through the zipper slowly and did it bend your needle?? This is so cute I am making it for my sister and one for myself!!! Thank you so much. Do I need to use the fusible webbing if I have 2 sided fusible foam?

    • @MinkiKim
      @MinkiKim  Před rokem

      Thank you for your support! Yes, sew slowly when you stitch zipper. I use no.80 regular needle and it doesn’t bend at all. You don’t need fusible web if your foam is fusible. Your needle might get sticky from fusible foam as yours is two sided fusible. Simple wipe the needle with wet tissue if it happens.
      I hope you enjoy making them!!💕😍
