The fact he owns probably most of them means he sets the price what a legend
It's the same with Pawn Stars Gary/ Pokemon Gary. He owns almost all PSA 10 Charizards and gets to set the price on them.
Not really because if the market is unrealistic no one will purchase them.
He sets the price but the worth is set by what it actually sells for, not his price.

Of course he paid more then the retail value xD so of course he is upset.
I think most of Rick's "experts" low ball the customers for Rick, so they can get a kickback from the sell. 🤔
I've seen some of the experts value it 10 times what the customer initially asked for
This guy recognizes how rare it is, how high the grade is and then proceeds to say it’s only worth 5-7k in a retail setting? Lol yea that’s not shady at all.
This guy obviously forgot one of the first rules of trade : something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. This is especially the case with valuable items that are extremely scarce. Best of luck to that guy on finding someone gullible enough to agree and rich enough to pay 650K.
Thank you for that!!!! It's so absolutely true. I buy and sell items for about 20 years now and have a general sense of what I can expect an item to bring in but there's plenty of times I would use eBay and bidding would FAR EXCEED the expected price because I would have 2 or more individuals fight over certain items and end up paying a lot more than it was worth. Hurray for me obviously lol Sometimes you never know but then it can go the opposite way sadly and you get no one wanting to pay a set price or end up winning it ( on sites like ebay obviously) for way less than you wanted to sell it of perhaps even less than you paid for it.

I don't know what a Morgan $ but if you let me use the example of Lespaul Gibsons instead I can explain. There are way more Lespaul Gibsons than there are Texas bills like the man wants to sell. But those guitars belonged to legendary musicians and are the best sounding.
