- Announcement, friends! I'm havin' a kiddo! I'm very excited about this, and I might talk more about it in the future, so this video is meant to ease into that transition but also discuss some weird feelings I've been having regarding sexuality, identity, and having a baby in today's society.

This is such a wonderful video. I'm 42, mother to 2 teen boys, divorced and remarried, found out I was pregnant last week. Two months prior I opened up to my husband about uncovering that I was bisexual. He has been supportive and we have had a couple wonderful experiences since then with a close female friend. Then I found out I was pregnant. I have felt like this means I must now be pushed back into the closet. I'm just so glad to hear you speak on this topic. It really helps. I hope you are doing well and can give updates on how you are navigating these waters.

I think it's visible when people follow tradition because it's normal or when they choose tradition because it feels good to them. It's important to really consider what in life you do for you, and i think you can tell when someone does that

Wonderful news! Congrats. And don't think of your self as chained to tradition in any way. What was patriarchal was the socially _compulsory_ marriage. Marrying someone and having children through intrinsic wishes is freedom.
I am a bisexual male, generally presumed to be straight by most I meet. Though through publishing online and in print, I have written about my bisexual orientation and what it means to me, I was before that always being described by acquaintances who didn't know better as straight.
