  • A quick look at how I built a rod rack for my boat. You can always buy a rod rack but they are expensive and may not fit your boat just right. Building your own you save money and can make it to suit your needs. Thanks for watching and God bless. #monsterrodholders #catfishboat #HGfishing

nice weld, if i don't get home soon and get out on water i may go crazy, your channel and couple others is all i watch when i'm out of town. one time i was gone 4 months i just got home went ahead and drove out to shop and hooked up boat and pulled around well that didn't go well with wife lol, probably the best one i did i was gone couple months told my wife i'm nearly to town it was around lunch time, heck i just stopped by house hooked up to boat cause lake was on the way to her work so i pulled into her work she came out and all she said is "this is ridiculous". lol i smoothed it over later came home and cooked some catfish lol. oh heck she put up with me 30 years so far, when she says stuff like that she just wanting to have a conversation with her husband i've mastered the art of looking like i'm listening.

Hi. Thanks for showing what ya did. I just got my first boat. And all I fo is catfish. I hoping bti get in the cats this year. I was going to go the route of purchasing a rod rack but with how high the price is and me being able to do what you have done. Changing a few things. I'm going to mount onto the bracket for the lund sports track so I can take it off and on for winter storage. I have found a piece of aluminum. To get it shipped to my door and the size I need it to be. It is less than a 100 bucks. The size Size: 3 x 1.498 .258....6160 standard channel You had made a comment that the thickness of your was over kill. Is this adequate in thickness to make a rack out of or doni need to go larger for this piece. Thanks Tommy
