In this video, you'll learn how to use Twilio and Zapier to send text notifications with no code at all. You'll need a Twilio and Zapier account to use my approach, but I'll show you exactly how to set everything up. You'll be able to set up sms notifications (aka text notifications) for things like new comments, website conversions, or even when it's time to water your plants!

@@DarrenAlderman How do you set up glide? does this work for bulk numbers?
@@savannahdaniels8112 needs a very minor/ small understanding of database. Basically, for each form you have created using the menu on glide, you have to link it to a column on the data source. What's happening is that when you create and open a brand new project on glide, it already creates 1 prefilled data source and a blank page for you. So edit the data source columns as per your requirement, then create the page. This may take a little scratching of the head initially, but if you stick to trying it, you will figure it out in an hour or two

I have not! This video is the most advanced stuff I've done with Twilio.
this tutorial is amazing, you are so clear and concise! 🙂 Question - do you know if there's a way to callback the message status from twilio using zapier? We would like to capture the message status in real time in our primary app that we use to trigger sending the messages, etc. (Quick Base) i have looked everywhere to see if it can be done, and your tutorial on setting up the sms in the first place is the best!
Could you add a zapier action after you send the message to update Quickbase?
Awesome video! Quick question. After buying a number from twilio, is there a way to use a different number from the called ID? For example, I have a twilio number but I want the text to show my office number so if they call back or text back it texts/calls my office number. Thanks! Great stuff!
Not that I know of. I think you can only forward text/calls with this setup.
I believe there is an option to bring your own phone number to Twilio, but I think that would remove any other integrations you have.
One platform I've considered testing out is: www.openphone.com/ (may be helpful for your scenario)

Unsure if you have an answer to a current predicament I’m in. Trying to have a list created of current subscribers that auto updates when they unsubscribe (from memberful) to send sms alerts via discord. I got the whole workflow from message to message sent just in a roadblock with the phone list and list update.
I'm not sure I follow what the issue is?

@@ikleveland Based on the single requirement you have mentioned - of which I've had to make my own interpretation, no.
How can I use this to send bulk messages?
Yes! Just separate the numbers with a comma, and make sure they include the country code.
Can be used in Australia?

How do you send a message to
a group chat
Don't think you can send to a group chat, but you can send multiple messages to multiple numbers at once. See last part of video.
