  • Hey guys!
I had the chance to test a prototype underquilt for Enlightened Equipment in 2019 and the Uprising underquilt is finally available for the general public! In this video, I go over my experience with the Uprising and its pros and cons vs a traditional underquilt.

Thanks. Very thoughtful review. Have you used the additional ridge line connectors with an integrated bug net?. Do you anticipate any problems while doing so?. Regards.

Thanks for watching! I have used it with a bug net and have not had any issues. Works well with or without the bug net.

My next big purchase is going to be from Enlightened Equipment, their quilts and jackets always have great reviews, and I am so excited to sleep warm in a new setup!

They make some great stuff! I also highly recommend their Torrid Apex jacket, it's super light and warm.

@@juicehikes5436 yeah, of course I didn't hear about it until after I got a Patagonia nano puff...maybe another year!

What do you do with the extra suspension lines if you dont have a ridgeline?

    • @juicehikes5436

That's a good question. This quilt is really built to take advantage of a ridgeline but if you don't use a ridgeline it would be pretty easy to tuck the lines in between the underquilt and the hammock.

EE did a video on this quilt and did a pretty decent job of showing the cables attached. Check it out czcams.com/video/w6BZXC4S5EI/video.html
