Transformers Generation Stop Motion Movie.
Finally it is done!. took me 6 month for whole filming proses.
At the beginning this movie was suppose to be separate into two part. But think again...better let it be a whole full length release. Even tho this is not a 2 hour or 3 hour kinda movie lol.
And luckily there is a figure that have accuracy of the G1 Original design. Such as Masterpiece series and some 3rd party stuff. Their have great articulation and good poseability on each figure that could delivered the action you wanted.
And most of the figures i use is loan from friends.
Wish they were mine so i can make more accuracy on it. Such as battle damage..wheathering effects...all that kinda of stuff haha.. surely will look more interesting
The love on the G1 cartoon is too high that make me made this short movie. It's took too much of my time for making it. But its really what a toys collector wanted. Seeing their favourite toys in action lol
The story is kinda mix with the cartoon series version , the 86' movie and Comics version "All hail Megatron" story line.
Its does look like there will be a sequel for this one.

Back again 6 years later to say that this is STILL **THE** coolest Transformers stop motion project I've ever seen. The work and talent put into this thing is incredible. Absolutely awesome.

I enjoyed the whole 15 minutes I spent watching this, far more than the combined hours I endured watching the recent Transformer films.

As a Transformers collector for the past 29 years and fan of many toy reviewers and stop motion intents, I have to say that you are awesome in many ways. I have seen it all. You have awaken the transformers animal in all of us with this captivated stop motion vid. From young to old, I know that everyone will be in awwww . You got the package. I am surprised that top HASBRO REPS, have not herd of you. To actually make this is not easy since you have to have the following, voice, idea, creation, motivation and fun. To end this post I have to say that My wife, two girls and my son all enjoy this vid. We had pop-corn, chips and salsa, sodas and beer and the most important item unity as a family watching something we all enjoyed. THANKS FROM THE ESPINOZA FAMILY.

I noticed the dialogue and battle sequences were a little slow for my taste so I sped it up to 1.25x and the fights are smoother and the dialogue is still very understandable.
Also, Megatron sounds like Vegeta.

Johnzo "dialogue and battle sequences were a little slow" I take it you weren't a kid growing up in the 80's LOL. This was almost spot on if not slightly faster than the original cartoon. I agree though this was really good!

I’m glad we can all come together reminisce on the nostalgia. These kinds of vids were all I watched as a kid on CZcams. I never cared about view count or relevancy or none of that. I was just being genuinely myself.
Probably the only TF stop motion where the voice acting and dialogue is as good as the animation (even if bits of it came from the comics ;)) love that it's mostly MP and 3rd party figures too

First the cinematography is amazing here. Second, the writing is totally nostalgic of the G1 animated series. Third, the visual effects are not over the top (or maybe they're just over the tip) and add that special movie magic to the already amazing cinematography. As a VFX artist who's been in the industry for 10 years, I'm blown away by this. Great work. I'm happy to see that there's new content coming out.

Where has this been all this time?! It's WONDERFUL! The stop motion is top notch and it grabs some of the magic nostalgia of the original G1 series (something which Bay has yet to even guess at). Forget that below average IDW Combiners whatever, this is fantastic and I want to see more. Bravo and standing ovations to the entire team and I am so throwing a few bucks into the fundraiser! O_O

All the care in making all the figures look amazing in action and actually showing them transforming. I've tried my hand on LEGO Stop-Motion, but my exploits will never come close to the fluidity and grace you instilled in your Transformers.

*I've seen stopmotions in the past, but this outshines them all. The movements of the cast are so fluid that I tend to forget that they were animated by humans to begin with. I can't even imagine how much time and effort were needed to make this film possible. I only wish that the voice acting would be improved in the future. Some of the lines sounded rather dry, in my opinion.*

not having a dig it just gets me that ppl put so much time in to critising without seeing the bigger picture i agree the voices are not the best but there not bad either no1 is ever gonna be better than frank welker and peter cullen those are pofessional voice actors who probably spend hours trying to nail the voices but this guy is unbelivable in how hes done the stop motion to get them to transform in mid air is fantastic highlights for this movie is 1 optimus primes entrance and 2 megatrons entrance

+john ward I don't think that it's the voices themselves, but just the delivery of the lines. A lot of the voice acting was really good, just some lines and their delivery was what made it a tad worse. But yeah, the fact he had them transform in mid-air was pretty amazing. I always wonder how people do that, whether it's just a green screen, if they suspend the figure in mid-air, ect. It still is an amazing spectacle to behold, though.

I've seen a fair few TF stopmotions over the years but I haveta say this is one of, if not THE, most EPIC frikkin one ever! From the score to the sfx to the voices to the smooth animation & the amazing choreography! You guys who created this shoulda been the ones to make the live action movies & not some explosion addicted numnut!

He makes high octane action films, over the top with explosions and special effects and uncomplicated minimal (and arguably poor!) story lines - what's the problem with that? If you don't like it, don't watch it!

About almost nine years later and closing into the 40th anniversary of the Transformers, and this video is still as amazing and thrilling as it was and still very much holds up and I feel like it’s a great re-visit for the 40th anniversary

This is actually an adaptation of All Hail Megatron by IDW. Megatron tears the matrix from Optimus' chest and the Autobots retreat to Cybertron.

Yes, Michael Bay's work is not quite the same as Generation One, but really? Does everyone HAVE to diss it?! I like both the Generation One series and the live-action movies. The REAL insult to Transformers was Transformers Animated! Ugh! The films may have had contradictions, but Transformers Animated had things that tore Generation One to shreds. Making Optimus Prime a noob, beginner and over-all rejected warrior during his fights on Earth when, by then in the Generation One series, he had lots of battle experience under his belt and was even feared and respected by the Decepticons was a VERY BAD MOVE! All Generation One Optimus Prime would have to do to beat his Animated counterpart is flick him! At least his Live-Action counterpart was something to respect in terms of strength... except in those moments where the plot contradicted it. I do remember watching Revenge of The Fallen, when Optimus was fighting Grindor, Starscream and Megatron, where he killed Grindor and started looking for Sam, thinking, "You idiot! There are still two more! At least scare them off or incapacitate them!" right before Megatron nailed him. Oh, but then it was all the more satisfying seeing Megatron get half of his face blown off later, seeing as he had called Optimus the weak one moments before!
And yes, this is really good!
And I will respect yours! One thing is for sure Generation One is the best of the best in this whole thing. Now on to the movies: I do agree... that certain scenes should not have been in them. One scene especially comes to mind: The scene where Sam and Mikaela are looking for the glasses, his parents walk in and Sam's mother asks him a question that... You've seen it, so you know. I remember hearing a collective gasp in the audience in the theatre I was watching the first movie in when that scene came up. I also remember thinking "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING PUTTING THAT IN THERE?!" Then, there is another scene that upset me: The scene where Sentinel Prime revealed his true colors. I was beyond outraged when Ironhide died, especially the way he died! But over-all, I found them to be interesting films worth, at least in my opinion, watching. When people ask me why they aren't more like Generation One, I tell them I think of it like this: The movies occur in an alternate reality. It's been established that there are multiple dimensions. No Optimus Prime was more different than the one in The Shattered Glass timeline. Now THAT would be an interesting timeline for them to fully explore! An evil Optimus Prime vs a good Megatron. And get this: They would be their Generation One selves, but with opposite personalities! Pity it was just a prank from Hasbro!
I agree Gen one was the best. I can still watch the original Transformers the Movie (1984) and enjoy, even without nostalgia.
One scene in Bay's series that just made me cringe was when the Autobots are in Sam's Backyard and transform into vehicle mode. Then the scene where they are conversing ON the observatory, hanging off of it like chimps in a zoo. Bumble Bee pissing on the Agent guy. and the fact that once in robot form it became impossible to tell them apart at a glance. I honestly didn't know the tank was Devastator until Ironhide screamed it out, which brings up all sorts of other questions about the sequel with the Constructacons.
You are obviously more forgiving of the Bay movies than I am, so I will say I am impressed you are standing up for them, I just can't share your stance.
And you're right the shattered glass thing was kind of interesting.
Yeah! Those are things that just make me shake my head. Then, the good fight scenes roll in, and hook me. One thing I have kind of gotten a kick out of is Optimus Prime's fetish or obsession of going for his enemies' heads or faces in the movies! In fact, if I remember right, he says, "Give me your face!" to The Fallen right before tearing off his face.

This was unbelievable. When it started, with the cardboard building, I was like “oh geez, this should be interesting…” But this was mind blowing. The stop motion was perfect, the camera angles were cinematic, and the special effects… cute explosions and debris but motion blur? Brilliant. And most importantly, this was the coolest merging into Devastator I’ve ever seen.
