I tried to buy Mbappe on FIFA 22 and PSG asked for £450 million + Alex Telles. Obviously I refused it as I didn't have the money anyway, but a week later they came to me trying to buy Rashford for £11m. The cheeky bastards.
I hate Fifa and Football Manager for this reason. When you want a player you need to at least pay 20mil over a players value to get them but then when other clubs bid on your own players they offer below a player's value or barely above. This is why I never sell Haaland or Sancho on FM 21 cause it's broken.

Pep however, wouldn't release him for anything less than half a billion, probably a lot more. He's not for sale, is indispensable for his current plans, and would absolutely loathe the idea of losing him to a rival. This is why ridiculous pricings happen in this game. In the real world, no one's even entertaining the idea of signing Haaland at this moment because they know this is how things would pan out.

This is one thing I don’t like with the fifa career mode - transfers. It’s all out of context with real life and the value of players seem to far exceed their actual value in real life. Take F. De jong Barca was accepting £78m offer but in fifa his value starts at £134m. I hope fifa 23 provides a much more realistic transfer value for players which provides us with the tools to play as close to the real thing as possible
In my career mode I was playing as Barca, I was trying to get Salah cause Messi was getting old, I offered a swap deal and they ended the conversation.
