What a melodious Raga Gorakkalyan which unfortunately the younger generation doesn't sing. Such a powerful raga put forth so easily & effortlessly by Abhishekibuwa. The new generation needs to take a leaf out of Buwa's book. All glory to Abhishekibuwa. Dr. Dilip Naik, Mumbai.

Listen to any of Abhishekibuwa's compositions in Ragadhari, Natyasangeet, Bhajan et al. His plus point was the clarity of the bol of the Bandish either in Vilambit or the Dhrut. One can easily make this out in his renderings of Ragas to name Gorakhkalyan, Marwa, Yaman or Amritvarshini. For me he was the ultimate as a vocalist. I therefore consider him as my DAIVAT & miss him immensely . Dr. Dilip S.Naik ( ENT Surgeon), Mumbai.

Gorakh Kalyan raag is a special gift to classical music lovers and if handled like Panditji does then its effect lasts very long. Panditji had unique speciality to create special approach to SHADJ almost everybody in audience waits for it. Then his master card is to stay at that note with absolute clarity to create right impact. Salutes.
A complete maifil of classical music. Listen this in dark and your eyes get closed, the raag engulfs you completely. What a rendition!! Wonderful accompanying by Pt Nana Muley and PT Walawalkar. Both of them in fact enhance the maifil. Thanks a lot Raju ji.

I fully agree with Dr. Dilip Naik and also with nisha Kamath. Buwa, as we called him here in Goa, was very famous for
singing for his old friends, contemporary singers who were at local places around temples etc. I have attended many of his
public MAIFILS where he was always adjustable to the occasion and presented his lovely rendering without any show off, of
course this was his place. A true versatile artist from classical to light music, bhav geet in Konkani etc etc. He revived the love for Natya sangeet in Maharastra and Goa at made it very popular starting from Matsya Gandha 3 act play to Mahananda he composed music for a good number of plays and it was a really golden period for NATYA SANGEET. credit goes to him. I have my considered opinion that he could touch the heart of audience through his intensive, suitable to the meaning rendering with due weightage to the composer of words. As an AIR artist, he composed good number of Konkani songs to tune but only a few are available with even with radio, as we Indians, now a days not give much importance to classical and for that matter any Indian Music..so sad..
Buva, the versatile genius and reviver of Natysangeet..
Also as he was graduate in Sanskrit he composed select Sanskrit shlokas as well..
