A very nice car . It must have turned many heads when it first appeared and it still has that air of quality and grace. Don't think this one will be around for long.Thankyou Jay. Especially at that price! Good job l live in the UK!

Boy I wish just once in my life I could own a classic car so you know I am partial to Buicks. Right now I own a 200 8 Buick Lucerne. That is a beauty

Greetings again from Ohio ... What a gorgeous survivor! Another one like so many I saw on the roads daily as a youngster. Another friend of mine had a 57 Buick that we 'shot the loop' around town in on week-ends ... What great memories!! The older I get, the more nostalgic I seem to get, and these 50s cars always take me back. Again, my sincere congrats to Volo for another stunning find, as well as to this beauty's soon to be new owner! I hope you're Blessed with many, many years of proud ownership. May all stay safe and well.

Beautiful car. You can definitely see the shared DNA in the Buick, Pontiac and Chevy from that era.

My dad had a 57 Pontiac convertible when he married my mom in 59. The rear taillights on the Buick look real similar to the Pontiac.

Love the fact that the radio works in this '57. But, is/wasn't there a delay in the radio actually "working"/receiving until it warmed up? So, the radio works, but that begs the question, does the clock work?🤔😉 Great find!

Say you're driving cross-country and you end up in some little hick town like say Orangevale California and the Buicks transducer fails where you going to get that part and someone take the old one out and put two doing in?

My first car was a '56 Buick Special 4-door. This is the same car in 2-door with some styling changes and a bigger carb. Trust me, it is not a "dream" to drive. It has the same basic engineering, engine and slushbox transmission that Buick put in its models from 10 years prior. I drives like a truck, It handles likle a tank. It cannot get out of its own way if you floor it. The seats are not very comfortable. This one is pretty like new because whoever bought it realized what a dog they had acquired and just stored it. Mileage? Remember that gas was 34.9 when this baby hit the street, and it offends even at that price.

Randy, you're mistaken in your assumptions about this car. Your old, bottom-of-the line '56 Special 4-dr sedan had 220 h.p. on its best day, and may very well have driven like a truck and handled like a tank, but the '57 Super is rated at 300 h.p., and looks, rides and handles way better. I very seriously doubt that whoever buys this car wants it for a daily driver, and is going to be real worried about its fuel economy or lack thereof.
