I have made your chalk paint, made your apple basket, used your recipe for stiffening my burlap, and actually made a Holly book for most of your crafts. I wish I had your sense of creativity, but, I will cheat using your mind to help me look cleaver. And, your background chatting is so calming; you don't shout at us and don't repeat the same phrases. You use the cutest sayings. "Peek a boo area's, Boo boo paint" I love it! Im the same way. When my kids were younger and they did something they weren't supposed to, since I called them little jumping monkeys, I'd ask them is they were out of their tree. That stayed with them and they use it with their kids lol

I think I would do a black wash over the witch's hat, as well as a soft white/barely grey over the moon on the sign. It's super cute either way, just personal preference. The black around the letters was a nice touch.

Every day, we have two dog food cans that are cleaned, unlabeled & air dried before they go into the recycle bin. I do save stuff but don't have that much room - so only save very special items like small candelabras or pillars, picture frames. I enjoyed all your projects, thanks so much!

I'm just going to say it. You are brilliant. Anyone who can take a $1 junky plastic tray from DT and make it look like an expensive, well loved wooden tray is just brilliant! These all turned out great. Personally, I think a light wash of black on the witch's hat would look great, but it also looks good as is. I too would have cut that gingham ribbon off the cutting board sign. It made it look too busy. What a wonderful, industrious neighbor you have to help with your DIYs and invite you to tea. I literally laughed out loud when she popped up! Thank you for not only sharing your beautiful crafts and love of diying, but also sharing different techniques you have discovered over the years. Holly, if you are not selling your crafts you are missing out on a great opportunity! You could easily be a full time diyer! Have a great week!

You can take cotton balls and a brown paper bag to make the leaf things under the cotton to make cotton then stick it on a flower stem if ya have trouble finding them you can paint the bag leafs darker works great. Love your diys

Mine were transparent so I used glitter to fill the bottle of "horn dust from Unicorn" and some fake hair in the werewolf one, my family loves them! I love those bottles!! And that broom and Wicked sign is too cute. I actually have a full size witch’s broom that I made using a very swirly looking willow limb. That’s probably one of my more prized DIY pieces.

When you want to make a knot to hold when you weave it through the first time before tying the knot weave it through again and pull tight it will lock it in so you can tie the knot without having help....love everything looks great...

I really loved these-especially the witch broom! Love the vintage labels of any kind-but these Halloween ones were really cute and different. The 3 tier tray DIYs are some of my favorites you do....can't wait to see your Christmas stuff! I am constantly amazed at how you make high end looking projects out of what usually ends up in the trash! Way to help the Mother, Holly. You're making me think twice before throwing something away.
