Oh my goodness Karen - your pants are amazing!! You and I had the same idea 😂 I agree with you - the fabric was NOT easy to work with. I didn’t get any pulls (not that I noticed anyways), but that fabric grew and grew!!

Someone mentioned that I could have a bad batch of Microtex needles, and I never thought 💭 it could happen 🤔🤔. I had to let the pants hang for a whole day before I hemmed it, as it needed to grow 🤣🤣.

Hi Karen, gorgeous wide length pants and they look fabulous on you. Viscose can be a tricky fabric to sew, however lovely once it is sewn up.🌸xx

The pants are so pretty and look great on you. My great grandparents lived in Sarasota Florida. My dad grew up very close in Bradenton Florida. I spent quite a few summers there as a child.

Thank you Nancy 😊. Yes, Izzy and I were twinning this week 🙌🏻🙌🏻, and it was not planned. Someone told me that I might have a bad batch of microtex needles, and I never thought of that. Never crossed my mind that needles could be bad 🥴🥴.

How fun your pants are beautiful, you know I watched Izzy from Dizzy quilts and sew she made pants too but she also mentioned that her fabric was a bear to sew as well. The print of the fabric is so beautiful though 😊

Your pants are so pretty - you and Izzy are twins now! My friend's husband is mystified when we talk about "good boxes" and "good bags," 😆 but both our husbands know to ask before throwing anything out! Glad you saw your relatives and I have to say, you saved me a trip to Lake Okeechobee - maybe Sarasota during the week is the time to go? I thought summer was the "off season" in Florida because it gets so hot and humid and the snowbirds come in the fall and winter, but maybe there is no off season anymore.
Thank you so much Mary😊. Yes, we are twins and it was not planned at all 😱😱. I believe Lake Okeechobee is better seen by boat, but I don’t even know where you would do that. We were just passing by and decided to stop by and look around 😉. The older people do not stay (snowbirds), but summer is very busy here, it’s a vacation spot for families trying to enjoy our beautiful beaches.

You might have gotten a bad batch of microtech needles. I quit using them. I bought several packs and had the same problem. Sorry to hear about Sarasota Beach.
Hi Diane😊. Having a bad batch of needles never crossed my mind. I don’t remember where I bought them from 😫. A coworker told me that I needed to get a hotel/air b&b by the beach, and we could just walk around. But, we were going to see family for 1 day, and we got a hotel close to where they were staying (farther away from the beach 🏖️). There’s always a next time 👍.
