I recently got one with a 1650 and a i5 and it's been amazing i was lucky enough to get one off of amazon for 599 and for that price you rlly can't beat it. Another great thing about it is the size i personally have a smaller desk and its perfect for me. I def recommend as a first pc.

I bought another stick of ram and it runs most games over 100+ fps, rainbow was the main game I was hoping to play and it gets 120-140 fps. I really recommend it for the price it is currently.

Worth mentioning there is a VGA port that is disabled and covered by a plastic cap with 2 screws. The integrated graphics (if it has any) is disabled in the BIOS.
I have the R5 5600g W/ rx5500 variant. I would really like to upgrade the gpu for Higher quality titles. So if u guys still have one of these prebuilts lying around, it would be awesome to see a GPU upgrade video, just to give me an idea. Amazing content aswell!!
They did a video on your config (5600g + rx5500) and noted that the power supply is proprietary and can’t be replaced, and is already nearly maxed out, so upgrading graphics card (to something that would likely draw more power) is a tricky proposition.
Forget the 5300g if you want top performance go for the 5700g 8 core beast 🙂 max power 🤣 listen to jemery clarkson everything can be solved with power and speed 🙄

I was able to snag this model but with a 512 SSD for $550. Spent an extra 30 bucks for a 8gb stick of RAM and I got a nice little setup for my daughter. Fun fact, it also seems to run VR games without any hiccups. Now when I eventually upgrade the CPU and GPU later on down the line, what would you guys recommend I get first?
When you go to upgrade down the line, for the CPU just go for the highest Ryzen 7 the board will support. HP usually has this info under their support page for these PC's. As far as GPU, as much RX 6000 as you can stuff in there.
Ended up getting a Ryzen 5 5600g and rtx3060 ti for a really good deal. Replacement the CPU cooler and exhaust fan with noctua stuff... Overall I'm happy with the results.
It kind of feels stupid to put both integrated graphics and discrete graphics into the same computer, especially with all these shortages. I suppose HP has a stock they need to sell, but personally I would prefer r5 3600 , 3600x, or even 2600x with price adjustments .

Been running Fortnite on just an average of 40+ FPS and just had to watch the beginning Apex cinematic on an average of 9 (yeah...I know - it's bad). My PC has an integrated unit (AMD Ryzen 7 + Radeon Graphics) so it wouldn't take much for me to get something to upgrade dramatically. Lol
what settings do you play cause i have a ryzen 5 4650g as a temp solution and i can run these games decently good and games like fortnite on pro settings on performance i get 90+. also ram migt contribute too how much ram do you have, is it in dual channel and what speeds cause ryzen likes faster speeds.
Nice video. I just bought one of these and it came with a Ryzen 5 5600G & Radeon RX 5500. At the time that I was at the store, I didn't think about it not including a disc drive and I only have internet on my phone, so I can't play any of my games on it until I get back to the store and buy an external disc drive and an HDD for it.
@@buddahkz9980 it's been good so far. The only game that I've been able to test on it is my copy of Sims 3, though. I need a much more modern game for it. I had to buy a $25 external disc drive for it. It does have an audio issue that I haven't been able to fix. That is that my audio cuts out every couple of hours or so.
got a new one for 300 two days ago with a gtx 1660 super and its crazy how good it runs. I was always seeing some BS about over heating yet i have not had a single problem over heating on warzone 2

The sale ended today it was 150 off for presidents day sale now its 650 and the 1650 super went out of stock so its either the rx 5500 which is almost as good for 20 bucks less or the 1660 super for 70 more but it was on the hp website
up graded this to 32 gb ram, 1tb SSD. I can play Ps2 emulators at 60fps, Final Fantasy XIV max settings 1080p at 70 to 90 FP (slightly lower fps at higher resolution settings and Gshade on), Devil May Cry 5 at 80 fps 1080p (slightly lower fps with higher resolution. recommend 3200 resolution med settings for 60fps). Got this at walmart for 599.99. I skipped the Ps5 when I saw this and got this instead. Modern consoles are so limited to what you can do, and higher resolutions don't make a game great. I always was so stuck on console gaming since the 90's. I don't think I'll be going back to consoles anytime soon. I recommend to anyone to have 60 fps in any game at least. I can't tell how games feel at higher than 60 fps so don't be obsessed with the fps thing. This build is good enough for even newer titles. Just to add this gpu was a RX 5500, not a 5300.
I set all my games to my monitors refresh rate 75hz and set my games to 75fps limit with vsync on. If your fps is to high for your monitor it can cause bottle necking , screen tearing & stuttering

I bought it loved it for a week but the graphics card could of been better same with cooling the heat sync is pretty bad and it doesn't have a intake fan and a small intake I saw 15% boost in preformence once I added one and swapped the gpu for a 2060 before I got 40 to 60fps in wz now I have 80fps reliably definitely at least take off the side when you use it I will rilly help with your temps

Well I’m not one to judge, but you should probably account for the screen recording during gameplay, the graphics card has to run a screen recording while playing, it’s pretty impressive but imagine what it would be without the screen recording

as for the streaming question yes its actually really solid for that i stream on twitch regularly with mine and it hasn't had any problems.
That motherboard alone makes me shift towards Custom Build.
They must work for HP or get a serious kick back from HP , because they constantly review this same pc.

Those display ports might be able to be split into two separate outputs with an adapter.

The airflow is not that good, but it does not overheat as Long you you play on low to medium grapichs settings.
