In regard to the "This is the most fun you will have in this game" dono: You are absolutely wrong bro. Your definition of "fun" is constantly changing. I spent 90% of my 900 hours on this game hating it but being addicted anyway. Now I have more fun on it than ever, because I forcibly changed my view to allow me to play it without hating myself.
Would the top players even play if it wasn't fun? Change your view
X there are better controls then the default ones, especially for newer players.
If you use default, without changing how u hold the controller it will be harder to double jump and boost at the same time.
If you change the controls early, it will be better for you to get better faster.
I recommend boost on R1
Drift and air roll on L1 (double bind)
Jump X
Air roll left Square
Air roll right Circle
But yeah if you use default settings I believe it will be harder to progress.
For reference im the max rank in competitive SSL.

@@alexb7092 it’s like a backflip that you cancel half way through while the bottom of your car Is facing the ceiling, then you use air roll to put the front of your car behind you. It’s a good rotation technique
