For the people saying it's not a red, I can understand. But he easily could have broken his foot, he purposely went for a tackle after the ball was out. It doesn't matter if he got the ball first.

Rangers are chasing Celtic this season because of the loss at Ibrox, the league cup was just a bonus. Rangers, regardless of improvement are behind Celtic on the table and how things go after Christmas will tell whether 10IAR is on the cards because although Gerrard has been a great manager, I genuinely do have concerns about Rangers' business model and feel the board is putting all their eggs in the stopthe10 basket. I reckon if in the next two seasons Rangers fail to win the league, Gerrards visions won't be financially sustainable for the club and can see him leaving off the back of that. I'm not on the "admin2 lol" train, but there is a lot of risk taking which could stunt yous long term if it fails.

Embarrassing from everyone on the Rangers bench after that tackle- the ref was dealing with it yet they made a beeline for the Hibs bench. And it was a total over reaction when you look at it.

As I commented elsewhere, they are a traditionally very hostile people and this reaction is typical of them. It's not about red cards. Whilst the tackle was "all ball", I am led to believe that the follow through was the reason for the dismissal. I get that I suppose. In fairness, the Hibs staff were equally as hostile in this instance; it seemed however to be more a reaction to the rushing of the The Rangers staff than anything.

On the other hand, you know in football it does'nt always follow that you will be top dog again just because you were tops against us in the final. In fact its an advantage to us that we know what to expect. It can also be argued that Celtic will not be as bad again and in fact Rangers missed their best chance ever to "take us".
I as a Celtic fan believe that if my team play as well as they can, we will win. So its nicely poised and certainly its up for grabs. Of course the fact you will have so few fans at the game is a travesty to sport. Rangers were wrong to ban us from Ibrox and Celtic were wrong to follow suit (IMO). I'm looking forward to it.
