  • What the....?! The leader of Canada's Conservatives is telling business owners to cancel their Chamber memberships. "I refuse to meet these groups," writes Pierre Poilievre in a shocking Op/Ed published by the National Post. Aren't the Conservatives supposed to be the business-friendly option on the ballot? Jason Leslie of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce responds.

Thats hilarious you don't think Pollievre is a big corporate shill. You do know that most chamber members are small to medium businesses, often not even incorporated.
What he's saying is he ONLY works for big oil.

@mikearchibald744 according to the video he's against the big corporations. Big oil pays big $$ to employees!! Good for him if he does support big oil!!

@@cheaze69 LOL, well 'according to the video' is about the worst defense I've seen. The oil industry has been shedding employees for decades. There is now ONE FIFTH the numbers of employees in Quebec workig in their highly profitable hydro system than there is in alberta.
Those are CONSTANT jobs, not ones shed every time the price of oil drops, which has been at least once a decade. At one point in alberta the federal and provincial governments had more oil sector employees working to cap wells.
The whole industry is automating, in New Brunswick during a strike the MANAGERS ran it. That whole new pipeline in BC will provide 'maybe' 50 jobs but doubtful its even that.
But thats pretty funny to go from "he's anti corporate" to "he's pro corporate and I like it" in a single paragraph.

@@mikearchibald744 oil pays over $100k easy to trades. PP sure loves seeing the working class make $$ for a conservative. In any case, the video clearly shows that the libs and dippers don't care about the working class like they do for big corporations. They LOVED big pharma so much they made it mandatory

Poilivre is basically saying that chamber networks shouldn’t be politically charged. Just like unions, chambers of commerce are riddled with corrupt lobbyists .

4 Late night shows have no humor the Leno, Carson and Dave Letterman days are over, the young miss out due to the Leftist destroying any of humor and respect left in the world. But in 1.5 years Canada will be done with the LIB/NDPs and we will get back to looking after the young with out pushing harmful drugs on them in the streets, playgrounds, hospitals, bus stops etc. Our police will be given the power and tools to keep Canadians safe, our courts will lock up the guilty and free the innocent. Parents will be able to send their children to school without fear of them being radicalized by Hamas Teacher attitudes. protecting children from Hormone injections and bottom surgery's by evil left wing Doctors. Big Pharma pushing Hormone treatments that now the UK and other European countries have also banned due to the high number of suicides by the young.
Did your Covid Vaccine stop Covid NO!!!, The Canadian Liberal government has now paid out a 100 million to people harmed by a vaccine forced upon people. Big Pharma again with Trudeaus backing!!!!
Leftist policies are poisonous to society and all over the world the Red Flags have risen and they are being voted out everywhere and soon in Canada and the USA they will be gone too.

And of course it's a dumpster fire. People are sick of the embezzling through corporate handouts. You want a "pro-business" government? That's a government who maintains an open and competitive market for all Canadian businesses, not one who picks and chooses winners and losers based on who chirps the loudest (and promises the most).

Not meeting with a business group isn't the same as giving them money. He won't meet with them because unlike on social media, those are people whose business depends on the political environment so they tend to ask REAL questions.
