- Growing Cheetos in Gateway and in official server was pretty typical experience. Struggling to survive as carno the starving simulator 9000 is pretty rough and being in official server doesn't make it anymore enjoyable.

Sometimes I have the feeling that devs do this things on purpose: adding deathtraps to the game - watching us raging - adding an unstuck command that is not working - watching us raging again. Maybe its their hobby idk

After 40 hours of playtime, I can confidently say that I have not grown a single organism in this game to 100% I hate every aspect of the game, but I'm still gonna play. It's a love-hate relationship :)
About 4K hours of playtime and I can confidently say, I have the same relationship with Isle.

I myself love the game but only recently really started commonly growing things, you just gotta be smart and learn the game and it gets easier. I’ve had the game for about 2 years now and I used to struggle to grow a carno to full adult constantly, only the last couple weeks have I been able to grow a teno or cerato lol
Genuinely, I think Ceratosaurus would get Diabloceratops diet, cause it’s a brute carnivore, and genuinely feels like it would be able to handle Diabloceratops really well, Plus, it looks like it would be able to hunt down nearly anything in its size range. Idk, just thinking
The unstuck command only works if nobody else is around and even then there’s a 90 minute cooldown and I think it’s because they don’t want people to use it to escape combat. But it is kinda dumb :/
It is dumb yeah, the cool down needs to be shorter and it shouldn't matter if there is people around because it doesn't teleport you far and you can't even spam it, so overall it is poorly designed thing.
@@Laacer not just that it also doesnt work if ur alone but stuck in rocks not sure how it works exactly people just describe it as "u on flat ground obviously not stuck - code"
yeah it is dumb like that. Even if you're inside of a rock the game is like "you on ground, you are not stuck, lol."
OMG it was BEAUTIFUL it was truly a beautiful adventure and above all I liked the moments when you ate😁😁😁 in the next adventure on the isle what would you like to be?

yes, but you can't have group and it has 90 minute cool down....also it doesn't always even work, depending where you are stuck. They really need to work on it to make it better.

Also idk if you know but I’ve always been confused why they changed carno so its not a cannibal, I think it kept the “overpowered carno” population down but I don’t know.
I don't know why but I guess they wanted Cera to be the only land cannibal for now. There isn't really that many carnos anymore like there used to be. I am pretty glad because of that because it was horrible to get sniped by cannibal carno groups that roamed Isla Spiro.
@@Laaceryeah true, plus people probably used it as an excuse to mass kill other carnos just for pvp or something when they aren’t even that hungry.

There's not really anything that can be done about mix packing. It's why they got rid of the social features in evrima but then people just used discord to organize themselves. The migration system was also supposed to discourage mix packing by making herbivores have to split up to get their required diets but the advantages of mix packing outweigh not getting the buffs from diets, the same would probably be true if they applied debuffs to dinos hanging around other species.
yes there is. BoB and PE have done mechanics that prevent it, so can Isle. You can absolutely prevent mixpacking. They just choose not to do it.
@@Laacer Can you elaborate? I don't know which games you are even referring to or what they did specifically.
Beasts of Bermuda aka BoB has discomfort system, you get discomfort near ungrouped animals, there is even intimidation ability that can give even more discomfort to foes, and when enough discomfort has been applied the target of it start to lose hp (this takes long long time btw, to prevent exploiting the ability). Prior Extinction aka PE has mechanic that gives you debuffs to your attacks, healing etc and lowers your wellbeing if you are spending too much time in area filled with other animals and your own species that aren't grouped with you. There is even hated animals for some herbies that they can't stand for in same place, that why they might chase you away if you are in their hated list so they don't get debuffs. Some PE creatures have intimidation call abilities to make you wanna leave the area by affecting your vision.
@@LaacerI don’t like how BoB did that though because you shouldn’t die simply by being close to other things. Think about the water hole from Dinosaur Revolution or something like that, that stuff happens irl a lot but with a system like that it would ruin that ability. Thats why I personally don’t think the devs SHOULD act upon it right now until they get a REALLY good idea for it. Because the way BoB did it sucks imo.
@@Laacerand also they clearly WANT to get rid of mixpacking, at least with carnivores, but like I said in the other comment they’re probably wanting to get a good idea for how to stop it instead of throwing in a system thats hurts players a lot more than it should for no reason

The Isle devs have loads of money but yet 1 update takes 6 months
Path of Titans is more complete and released in 2020 and has been in release for 4 years while the isle 2015-2024 has 2 games and still has less dinosaurs
The Isle devs have clearly said they don’t care about the money, updates take longer because The Isle is a lot more complicated, or ag least it seems like it to me, than Path of Titans in terms of what they’re doing. Yeah updates take a lot longer but theyre changing a lot more with each update than Path of Titans. They added an entire migration system and a new map, on top of 2 new creatures, in less than about 4 months it seems plus the other 4 creatures half a year at most before that so I think that heavily out weighs the time frame regardless.
still makes packing I thought the aisle implemented some devices in the game that prevented packing such as if you mix back you start getting sick because you're dealing with an opposite of what you are I mean I can see certain herbal words grouping together for protection and like eyesight and stuff like that you know those that have the better eyesight and see what's coming and those that protect their you know protection protect whatever's in the herd like Sarah Topsins or ankylosaurus with the bird mimic dinosaurs like strictly a manus et cetera that stuff makes sense that's saying they have to be like bound together like in in a club but I can see the mixing together on the plains as they move about cuz native animals in Africa do that now get the anthology that better sight better smelling abilities and there's other ones that are larger and will fight against whatever comes towards the herds and there are also other big even bigger things like the Cape Buffalo if you're very obstructers and will go after any lion I see if it if they can get away with it and they kill baby lions all the time young lions. so I can see that kind of makes back in But I cannot see carnivores and urban boards ever mix backing The list of current order omnivores they only occasionally eat meat and they only eat smaller animals than what they're packing with so like stereotypes and can eat meat but usually it's scavenged meat and made a small dinosaurs if they're lucky like a troy dong or a laser operator or something like that some small because think they'd need to do quickly and kill it baby animals of all kinds Now I know that the game has terrors But I was wondering do they have any natural natural birds such as archaeopteryx that'd be interesting to see.

You clearly don't know the Cheetos lore. Cheetos has it's name because of the yellow and orange legs, it legs got dusted by Cheetos. The Cheetos is old thing, all the way back to legacy isle. My friend Carl called this skin as Cheetos because of the legs, first Cheetos skin was on a rex btw. But I made it as my go to carno skin because Cheetos the carno sounds better than Cheetos the rex 😂

you wonder what's wrong with the game i'll tell you what Is a daundy production it's his way or go go the other way This game he played his way or not at all It's sad cause he's leading customers that way Generally you work for your customers to give the product they want and enjoy if it's frustration what the hell would you play it I know you stopped playing the aisle pretty much So is the gaming beaver So as a lot of people nick Scary she stopped playing the aisle everybody's trying to play the path of Titans or the other ones that you play I can't remember the name of it I first elect path of Titans he's actually rewards the players for playing properly. mean what do you think you think that's true evaluation If the aisle is not setting the game up for people that want to play it and instead are setting up the game to be what Don do wants it to be if that's the case then he should not sell the game he . should just play it himself and pay the people that he wants to fix it good money to do so And then you can play it all he wants to Leave us the hell alone
yeah it's frustrating how Don treats his community and customers. I still like The Isle because it has so many good mechanics, the game is beautiful and works somewhat. They just need to work on it even more to make it more enjoyable but still immersive. Mixpacks ruin the immersion and so does hackers.
I'm wondering why you continue to play these games. I feel like all your videos lately are you just complaining about the games a lot, and how much you don't enjoy them because of things, and it makes me not want to watch the videos, cause you don't look or sound like you're having fun. :/ Don't want to be a Debbie Downer or anything, it's just something I'm noticing. You don't have to play the game you know. Is it just for the sake of a video? You should try playing something you enjoy :)
Well I'm hoping that if I complain enough they actually do something about their games XD also it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the game. I'm prob gonna play on private server next time I play Isle to have more fun, because I think rules and active admins will make the game more enjoyable than the officials are. I don't understand why can't they work on a mechanic that prevents mixpacking and megapacking, other games have done that already and it works fine so why not make the isle little bit better for everyone?
@@Laacer I wouldn't hold your breath. It's notoriously a bad idea for game devs to listen to their players when it comes to changes to their games. Even if what you are suggesting might be a good idea, you're not a game dev, and too often have game devs taken very bad ideas from random players who don't know anything about balancing games or making games.
@@GLGJazzy none of the things I talked about was bad idea, they were improvements. They're ideas nothing more. I can toss around ideas if I want.
