Vlaky na východnom Slovensku/Trains in Eastern Slovakia at Ruskov & Slanec - 27/8/23

After arriving into Košice from Budapest by train, I picked up my hire car and headed deeper into Eastern Slovakia, on the line from Košice to Cierna Nad Tisou which hosts some impressive scenery and steep hills, which is why freight trains heading to Košice are banked by another loco on the rear. It also runs alongside the Broad Gauge line from Ukraine, which hosts some really impressive trains - a separate video will be uploaded in the coming days covering these trains!
Traffic along the line is in the hands of ZSSK 163s & 757s, and freight is mostly the impressive twin 131 locos. All of which are seen here!
Apologies for some wonky angles, I had to rush out at the last minute for some shots as I was sheltering from the heat in the hire car!
