It’s wild that we can build high quality live-streaming systems under $1000 … and some people may still think that cost too much 🤦🏾♂️🤣
So at my day job, my boss asked me to design a system. So I went high with the ATEM mini extreme iso, a couple of PTZ cams, a news report style camera, an audio mixer with 16 mic inputs and mics 10 wired goose necks, a couple wireless SM58s, and a couple wireless lav mics. There was a request for 2 of the presidential style teleprompter. Lastly a very bright projector and screen. It came in a little over 10 grand. I could come up with a cheaper setup closer to 5 grand if he wanted, it will get the job done but takes more manpower. Over time it will be more expensive due to extra labor.
Then he went to a local company selling AV gear. They came back with a quote for much weaker system mostly centered around DataVideo gear, an 8 channel mixer with 2 wireless hand held mics an 2 wireless lavs, no wired mics, the same teleprompter and a more powerful projector. They came in at over 50 grand.
He's going with their build because they are "professionals" and I'm just a hobbyist doing a handfull of side gigs a year.
We did a full NDI setup with OBS and we struggled for a few weeks with inconsistent latency. It was impossible to get the audio to sync because it would start off ok but randomly go out of sync. For me, the silver bullet was to set the latency for the NDI sources to ultra low. Since we did that everything is working great.
Thanks for the video. We are wanting to make a mobile set up for our church and your recommendations will save us money.
The mini PC will be part of my portable streaming system
@@AJaytheCEO When we were planning things out we had originally planned on doing a 16gb base Mac Mini. After watching your video we went with the Beelink Serv5 Pro. Big money saver there. OBS was barely even using your computer in your video.
Great video! As always, relevant content with expert explanation. Thank you.
Thanks! I'm contemplating a setup for personal use and this is very helpful!
You are welcome
great info
This is great
Great ❤ so help full for budget churchs 👍
That was fantastic content, and the explanation was detailed. God bless you always. Please advise me on 1. the lighting and 2. HDMI Video Capture, to be used in OBS for a livestream beginner in a study room setup. Thank you
I’m still learning lighting and for the capture card, I have a video on that one I showed here: czcams.com/video/yJyG5hcFCmg/video.htmlsi=MpoJp9ZOdxoe0pk5
how mine ptz can I add To this set up .I am likening This set up. And The next question is? Can I Bring Pro Presenter in with another pc. And use your set up as my sweeter.
wow
The ndi version does not have a sdi connection?
Does the mini PC come with Windows Pre-installed? Just plug and play?
The church where I am now has been using Focus Rite for audio. Could that be used with this as well?
Yes it could
Hi ajay, do you think the tenveo 4k 12x is a good choice?
I would say no because the unit I got was bad and never worked for me. I might have had a bad unit but I never recommend anything I haven't personally used
Hi AJ, I have set up my PTZ with Vmix using NDI and the audio is not syncing as if it was coming from hdmi. Any recommendations
This is why I don't use ndi. You need to sync the audio to the camera feed. This can be done under audio section in vmix
How can I set up two computers, one for streaming and one for proclaim
