To me, two of the most iconic race cars of all time are the Porsche 917K and the Ford GT40, and it looks like BRM knocked it out of the park on this one! Great driving by Sasha, she looks very comfortable with the GT40. I think you might be convincing Massimo to order one of these as well lol. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see you guys once again relaxed into having great fun with these BRMs. I'll be catching up on the Alpha vid. 😀 Most certainly, this triumvirate of BRM GT40 MKIIs has been top pf my 2024 wish list since you two first announced them last autumn. This run with a pre-pro model really whets the appetite. Yes, it really does look like an accurate reproduction and this piece demonstrates that the basic tuning delivers the kind of performance we would hope and expect. Now whilst I was much younger than Sasha is today when these things raced they most certainly do have a classic and an enduring appeal. I don't quite know why they chime so well but the shape certainly comes together nicely in the mind's eye in terms of a muscle, no nonsense race car and as one to beat the Ferraris which is exactly why Henry Ford II had that they were. I am hoping that these will be available at the end of April (not so long now). Meanwhile I have found time to spray up red and yellow 917K shells on light pink primer and the third will be Gulf blue on white to deliver the No 21 car from Le Mans 1970. The whole caboodle is in the kit albeit we do need to run the axles, wheels and tyres and blades and do the mesh. I now have decals from Spain. I will need to check on what is the best light kits to use and see what Alan has compared with more local stuff in either England or (probably) France. Meanwhile, it is great to see that Sasha's love of slot cars and her all round knowledge and calibration of them is growing from strength to strength. I don't know what it is with girls but my nine year old can drive for an hour without coming off which seems to be more than you or I or any of the other 'more mature' guys out there can manage? I can only guess the eye to hand coordination drops off as we get a bit older?

You certainly won't be disappointed when these hit the shelves. Regarding that light kit, I'll provide more information on this in the next video and will add it to the description of this video. Sounds like you've made good progress on your kits! Regarding the youth being able to stay in the Slot. I think a lot of it is patience at least from Sasha's perspective. I tend to keep pushing and pushing, where she keeps consistent 😁 That Alfa is certainly worth a look, Darren. I was impressed.

@DNASlotCars you must have a good sized collection yourselves. The bulk of mine is 1/64 and 1/87th scale. I started out with thunderjet 500s in 1964 and went on to AFX and tycopro. From there all scales. The only scale I don't have currently is 1/32nd unfortunately.

I never realised this one was on so close to Pete's and Travis's .I was editing and posting mine, then realised I missed yours 😮but all caught up now 😊that's a nice handling car, and Sasha did a great job driving it ,great Review...BRM are really giving us lots of interesting new cars to tempt us 🤗
@DNASlotCars not yet Daithi... I was holding out for some of the race livery minis, but I think BRM stopped making them ...only the standard livery is available... Those race liveried one's look amazing and would convert me to getting some 124s 🤔🤗
Sasha sold me on the channel absolutely Splendid driving Sasha anyway I am more into the smaller slot cars HO scale but after seeing your layout I realize I would be able to kick it up a notch I have enough room for a track that size 1/24 scale seems like it would be pretty cool I enjoyed the video

We are certainly starting to get that way. We have over 130 cars now which is split between 1/24 and 1/32 scale. Roughly 50/50 I think.
