- You know, whenever we ponder upon exactly why Stan Lee decided to call his Big Red Wrecking Machine a Juggernaut, we picture him sitting in his office, Fat burger in one hand, vanilla shake in the other, quietly sifting through the ancient Chinese tome Han Feizi. After all, Cain Marko’s alias is the embodiment of the proverbial “unstoppable force”. But while Juggernaut’s powers might be inspired by philosophical discourse, they certainly aren’t the source of it. If you’re new to the world of comics, you might be surprised by what we’re about to tell you; because despite being one of the primary antagonists for the X-Men, The Juggernaut isn’t exactly a mutant. Yes, he’s been portrayed as one in certain editions, but that isn’t the case these days, and it certainly wasn’t the case in 1965’s X-Men issue #12, where the character made its debut. For you see, his “powers” aren’t exactly his; they belong to the Demon Lord of the Crimson Cosmos, Cyttorak. No one knows how long he has lived, or how long he will continue to live; only that his might is absolute, and it is conveyed through the actions of his human thrall. Let’s take a look at this Evil Elder God of Planet Earth; this is Cyttorak’s Origins - Explored.

When I was four years old I found this book at a thrift store that had a really cool picture of this old sunken ship. The title of the book was “Juggernaut” That was the first word I learned the definition of. And then a year later I discovered comic books and they taught me how to read. Because I wanted to know what the heck was going on in the story. That was over 40 years ago and that’s when I fell in love with the Juggernaut.
YEAH!!!!
"Whosoever touches this gem shall possess the power of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak! Henceforth, you who read these words, shall become ... forevermore ... a human juggernaut."
😊
That’s right brother.
I know!
YEAH 😂😂😂😂
This guy is consistently my favourite narrator on this channel
"I'm the juggernaut b*tch" I love his catchphrase
my way entertainment was that og youtube gold
Please.DCs Mandrakk the Dark Monitor Origins. The Vampiric God who Feeds on the Essence of the Multiverse
Excellent profile on Cyttorak, love the delivery and thoroughness!!! Salute Fam!!! I love his mystery and power!!!
I actually really like the Black Tom/Juggernaut (Best.) friendship . They go so well together .
His might is absolute!
"Galactus is being a bit of a prick as usual" 😆 🤣 😂 😹
“Somehow he takes a punch to the spine from the freaking Juggernaut” 😂🤣
That’s what was so funny about old school comics, crazy strong guys could be depicted throwing all out punches at normal humans and they are barely affected😅
Your narrative & tone is captivating.
Don't ever change 🙏
Whoever you guys got to do this video is awesome! Way to go! He took even the more boring info and made it engaging and funny! His one liners were the bomb!
Can you do a video on Selene (From the X-Men universe .)? Or Sebastian Shaw ? Cytorrak is awesome, but we don’t really see him OUTSIDE of his realm! He needs to get involved in some of the mainstream MU threat events (Like Chaos War, etc.).
Great video! BTW, I love your performance, sir!
That thing can destroy the Mephisto easely
Would've been disgusted seeing Mephisto play pathetic lapdog to a Infinity Gauntlet-ed Thanos.
Most likely not within Mephistos own realm tho
Too bad Cytorrak fled to the flickering dimension to avoid getting demolished by a another powerful enrity.
Which entity is it that has been retconned to be what you claim?
& by some average modern writer I'm sure
@@benparrish672 I briefly read a synopsis bit it was a offspring of a Elder god who invaded his realm and pretty much laid waste to it and was going to either kill him or enslave him so he fled to the flickering dimension where the other Elder gods fled too when they were overthrown by the entity the demi-urge. In one alternate timeline Thanos killed cytorrak and forged a unbreakable chain from his skeleton to contain that realiry's hulk.
@@benparrish672 also by fleeing to the flickering realm it severed the connection to Cytorrak and Juggernaut. It didn't weaken Cain but Cytorrak can no longer increase the Juggernaut's strength level and Cain lost some other abilities. That means if he fought a opponent like the Hulk he can straight up get beaten.
he didnt flee the man said he was one of the few that stuck around..it was his followers that banished him
yeah..at 9:00..check it out...
they sought out an infinitely powerful entity which was slumbering deeply, as they search stretches from days to months to years they truly realize: this search is going to take an Eternity :P
Marvelous content!!
Absolutely awesome explanation
I would love a firestorm video
Nice DC source wall reference
One of my all time favourite Marvel villains: Cain Marko aka Juggernaut. Like how Cyttorack is described as a *"mystical principality-"* that he's neither god or demon or could be both. Great synopsis on a brilliant set of characters.
Hes a demon... no idea why you said marvel ismt clear on his power
@@shilohwehrmacht2947 I think Marvel is clear on his power. They just leave in that ambiguity about him. I think he's one power level below *"The One Below All":* the Devil himself.
@@56postoffice yeah they put him specifically in the slot of higher level demons in the new hulk run and hes one level below 7 or 8 on the power scale whichever the last is
10 years buried......
This was actually pretty cool
How are Vishanti not aware of Cyttorak, but know enough about him to warn Dr. Strange?
nice vid
The Juggernaut is one of Marvel's best Villains.
Cain Marko should always be a bad guy.
I agree with you and Powerful, too bad he's been written like s*** nowadays
He wavers between villain; anti-villain and anti-hero.
With Cains power set no one in Marvel save nigh powerful beings, Galactus, Uatu, Odin Zeus, the Stranger the Beyonder etc should be able to stop him.
Do you know who should always be a villain too? Venom! I dont like him as a hero at all. But he was my favorite villain.
Review Marvel's earth x, paradise x and universe x. I love those stories
Juggernaut is one of my faves
Would love a video on Lucifer or about the endless.
The really scary thing bout this dude.. Juggernaut is virtually unstoppable.. He only has a small fraction of Cyttorax powers..
Cyttorak looks like a Juggernaut × Xenomorph hybrid. The product of a "facehuggers" embryo hatching from Juggernauts stomach!!
Okay, I never knew that there were 2 different "Nova" characters. Thanks!
Cool
Creepy...I was just thinking about the bands of cyttorack...then this video rolls on my scroll👀
Biggest flex
I'm hoping Deadpool 3 fixes this.
Was Galactus' current (at that time) Herald Firestar and not Nova? But I looked it up and her superhero name IS Nova (but is/was she a member of the Nova Corp?). Frankie Ray is her name.
No, she wasn't part of the Nova Corp. She's from earth.
Frankie was the granddaughter of the guy who made the first android Human Torch. She developed similar powers and dated the fantastic 4 human torch, johnny storm. When Galactus wanted to feast on Earth, she offered her servitude in exchange for sparing it, though it was because she wanted to explore the stars. Richard Rider was depowered at the time and the corps destroyed, so she took the name Nova for her herald name. She was not a member of the nova corps, she was a herald of Galactus.
If death is literally what fuels Cyttorak, then he should give his powers to Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher...
That would be an interesting story but I do think Frank would still carry his arsenal.
Nah give it to Deadpool
I thought it was more Destruction than it was Death.
I could be wrong tho
Wow
Red Cthulhu❤
Cyttorak is basically Trigon power wise
You wouldn't like him when he is angry...
"like a demonic stag king who went bowling,"
What are you talking about? I have never heard anyone say juggernaut looked like a stag before, honestly I'm not sure these guys know what a stag is..
Bro! You have a way with words. You made the Crimson Cosmos sound like a great vacation spot.
So we already gearing up for avengers 3 ( or 4)
"Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull throne!" Oops, wrong god.
Should have mentioned the origins of the English word juggernaut, which was derived from when English visitors observed the procession of large chariots celebrating the Hindu festival of Jagannatha in India.
Also important to note that it's use was an attempt to demonize the religion by Christian missionaries. They would describe the festival of Jagannatha as people being crushed by the chariot willingly in a zealotous manner, and tried to pass it off as a death cult.
High irony, coming from a group that defer to a representation of a man nailed to a crossbeam, lol
I think it would be great if this alternate version of (JUGGERNAUT) makes his appearance in a Marvel cartoon show series someday, and the powerful being (CYTTORAK) as well.
Now I imagine this classic version of (JUGGERNAUT) he exists in the dimensional realm of EARTH-6, at least that how I imagine it if he appears in a cartoon series someday, and I think it works well since the ComicBook story about this version of him made its dabu in the year1965.
Dead pool is coming to the MCU so he might come over with Dead pool
Ok I have a question ⁉️ why don't they mention the Shi'ar empire
He sounds like a Bionicle character
Juggernaut has powers bestowed upon his from the crimson gem of Cyttorak.. he's not a mutant. Lol.. Fox didn't do homework back then
New SuperVillain Team to destroy Krakoa:
Mr. Sinister & Archangel & Sabretooth & Juggernaut & Mystique & Destiny & og Psylocke
Cyttorak is an Outer God, lives withim the Omniverse, theres is One Cyttorak ilal the Multiverse, who is itself an entire Crimson Universe. He has two aspect, the destructive and the goodhood. Cyttorak has limitless magical energies, it is the most powerful outer god of the Octeesence. Neither Living Tribunal , Etrernity, or abstract entities has not jurisdiction in his universe, in fact there is no time in Crimson Cosmos
That's terrifying to think about. Now I'm not really knowledgeable on the comics. Although that's the judge and literally reality that can not control Cyttorak. Terrifying
"He simply wants to watch the world burn"
My man isn't a demon if he wants that
He is a homie for sure and he is awesome
He sounds more like Heath Ledger.
Watch the news tonight I touched it I feel myself transforming as I text
Why is Cytorak?
Hey I'm cosmic ghost rider here hold my beer 😆
So is he pretty much the avatar for the evil God?? Or is that only for the Egyptian gods?? Please answer
Juggernaut is an avatar of Cyttorak but not in the same way as Moon Knight is an avatar of Khonshu. Cyttorak sits upon his throne banished into a different dimension and communicates with his avatars only on very rare occasions, usually when they have sought him out for whatever purpose they may have. He only cares that there's a Juggernaut causing destruction, as he gains power through that. He doesn't even care if the Juggernaut is a villain or a hero, he's a fairly neutral being for a demon god and does not mind his power being used for good purposes. He even has minions which are all about constructing the most durable things imaginable, because this spreads his name as well.
In the comic books there are also many other cosmic entities which choose avatars to serve them and these are different from the Egyptian gods as well.
@@thegreywanderer8427 I appreciate you, so where should I start with these comics on them using the powers for good what issue and series I also have another question. How do the Egyptian gods exist like are they even as close in power with all these other beings like Thor and Thanos and the other gods like who's who's bitch lmao
@@thegreywanderer8427 so thor can have a avatar maybe ? Maybe king ruin Thor is omnipotent enough to have them? I know the uni power choose one but who else could ?
So cyttorak is a Chaos Agent that just want to see the world burn 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Juggernaut vs Saitama
Isn't Wanda born on a mountain tied to an elder God?
Chthon
@@victoryLeo1 thanks bro👍🏽
@@farquarwion4324 You're welcome I help where I can , Chthon is a favorite of mine.
Cyttorak vs Dormamu 🤔
Cyttorak no dif
More like one above all
It cracks me up that how Marvel didn't handle Cyttorack actually was the correct way to handle him/it!
Reminds me of how Ghost Rider's "Spirit if Vengeance" was handled before the Midnight Sun's story.
You gotta do one on the lady that finds strange in the extra credit scene of Multiverse of Madness. She is the suorece sorcerer of the dark dimension apparently
The lady you’re talking about is Clea she was Dr.strange wife in the comics.
excuse me how is cyttorak in the same league as madara
The fact that he can control and dismiss his minions, and the Phoenix Force has destroyed entire planets an galaxies, makes me thing that the Phoenix Force might be another minion of Cytorak
Nah, we only really see his feats in HIS dimension! He’s supposed to be a LOT weaker outside of it (Like Mephisto, Doemamu, etc.).!
@@matthewschwartz6607 Mephisto has said Cyttorak is the closest thing to the actual devil. He 100% stronger that Oblivion and othe abstract entities
Phoenix Force is WAY more powerful, at least it is everywhere besides Cytorak's home dimension.
I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH!
And Korean peninsula and the island Jeju has no jungle
16:25-16:30. WHO?
Did you know, Cittorak is from a Word of Korean: “식도락”, literally means “foodie’s joy for having a gourmet cuisine”
The Dimension of Crimson Blood was invaded by four beings The Three Mothers and The Baby.... The Baby consumes magic and being a MAGICAL deity Cyttorak is presumed dead, only ONE person survived the journey from The Dimension of Crimson Blood to Earth. Cain Marko has been MIA since the "death' of Cyttorak so I'm going with the assumption that the power of The Juggernaut died with Cyttorak
Dr. Strange 3 made this monster weak af. Wong just poke of one of this monster onshore lol.
Still feel like ghost rider would win mid diff
Lol no Ghost riders chain is from Cyttorak
ANTON ARCANE is probably the scariest origin story of all time
LOL cosmic ass kissing. Also why does Galactis's and Juggernauts face remind me of Father Mozgus?
The juggernaut is actually still a mutant he is just enhanced with the power of Cytorak
Juggernaut isn't a Mutant, his powers are magical.
@@jamespope7669 Both are true
@@concernedcitizen5988 The juggernaut is not a mutant he’s avatar or herald of Cyttorak.
