OMSI 2 - MAN NG 272 (GN92)

- The MAN NG 272 is a fully low floor articulated bus produced by MAN between 1990 and 1999. The original NG 272 was replaced in 1992 by the NG 272(2), which looked almost the same as the predecessor, but had a different seat arrangement. These buses were equipped with a 250 hp, 6.8 litre turbocharged engine and either with a Voith DIWA 864.4 or ZF 5HP gearbox. It was followed by the NG 262 and NG 312 series, which had Euro II engines. The real successor was the A23, also known as the Lion's City in 1996.

Here it is. After 1 year of waiting, the digital version of OMSI 2 was released yesterday. Aerosoft's servers crashed right after the release, so I got my serial a few hours later. The support was really helpful though.
The new episode is definitely another milestone in the history of simulators, even if the graphics look outdated, and the optimization isn't that great. It runs only a slightly bit better than the previous part. The bendy bus is fantastic, there are no other bus sims that can simulate it so good. Fantastic job.

No problem mate you're certainly more than welcome : ) Thanks for the help with the root folder, steams a right mess. I'm glad that it can load larger maps, that's a real godsend. I was concerned about tile lag :/ its a real shame they haven't optimised that properly yet. But from the looks of things it a huge improvement over the original OMSI. Yeah I agree particle effects are cool, especially the tire spray :D Keep up the great work Routeres! Oh and If I don't speak to you before Christmas, I just want to say, have a great Christmas and a wonderful new year, all full of OMSI!! : )

That bus is so underpowered ! I mean, it takes like 30 seconds to get to 50km/h even with the fuel pedal to the ground... Al though, it would be great to have the ZF 5HP500 version !

Once again, fantastic video Routeres!! Cannot wait to see your future uploads of OMSI 2. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but there are a couple of things that still bother me. They are modding support through steam and optimisation. I just hope it's not as laggy as the first one and the root folder is easy to find :D Please keep up the awesome work and I look forward to seeing more from you!! : )

It's not too easy to find, but I made a shortcut there. Problem solved. :)
About optimisation:
Maps are loading faster, and I have good fps with 100+ AI cars (in OMSI it was set to 25). The new particle effects are also good. The only annoying thing is the lag while loading tiles and objects, and the game needs a patch, because there are quite many bugs in it.

Currently the only solution is waiting. The developers are working on a patch that will fix the random freezing and the incompatibility with other maps and buses.

Is it true what I see in some videos - that when you play with the keyboard, the driver camera view jerks from side to side? Looks horrible..
Think I'll wait with Omsi 2 until they release a patch to fix all the bugs..
It's the driver's head move. You can turn it off. Anyway, a patch would be good...

What drives? the bus the last axle on the first part or the last axle on the "trailer" part.

I would like to make a couple of models for OMSI for the job .. to .. that way people could lean the OMSI? .. For example, could make them and send them to believe the file .. I am very interested the MB O 302, the 303 or the 322, or the 321, I've made a couple of them and I would like them back under any specification and a goal, even without an economic intent on my part.

This game does not work unless you have the recommended requirments, ignore the minimum ones as omsi are misselling you.
wouldn't want to be using this in All in One - Landkreis Wehlen on that windy road.. all hell will break lose, Routeres could you show us videos of the game in another maps, in terms of mods from OSMI 1
I would, but currently only the buses work with OMSI 2. When I tried Börzsöny, I got errors.

OMSI 2-höz fogsz készíteni Buszokat/pályákat?
Buszokat az 1-hez sem készítettem. Pályákat meg ugyan úgy folytatom.
Nem gondolkodtál rajta, hogy a 7E-107E-s vonalat elkészítsd? Bár az nagy munka lenne.
Csak azt tudom megépíteni, amit ismerek. Ez lenne a 194-es. De a lehetőség mindenki számára adott.
A Börzsöny-Fiktívet gondolom nem szándékozod megépíteni OMSI 2-höz. Az 1. részéhez lévő is 1-2 év volt elkészíteni, ha jól tudom.
Az OMSI és az OMSI 2 ugyan az, csak utóbbit kibővítették itt-ott. Ez okozott némi kompatibilitási problémát, aminek hála az OMSI-hoz készült pályák nem mindig működnek OMSI 2 alatt. Sajnos Börzsönnyel is ez a helyzet. Heteken belül lesz rá megoldás, ebben biztos vagyok.
Amit ki akarok hozni a mondandómból az az, hogy az OMSI-s pályák is működni fognak OMSI 2 alatt. Idővel.

Nope. NL (Niederflur Linienbus = low floor citybus) is the solo version, NG (Niederflur Gelenkbus = low floor articulated bus) is the articulated.
