Jim Johnston is a MUSIC GENIUS!! He creates timeless music.
This man is a true producer. He ensured that the nuances were on point.
The Brood/Gangrel's theme is legit one of the most awesome and memorable wrestler themes of all time. You couldn't mistake it for anyone else's, the moment you heard it, the spectral whispering, the beat, the wah-wah guitar, you'd remember: Gangrel and The Brood. I think it may on reflection actually be my favourite theme _ever._ I'm gonna go look it up and listen to it on repeat right now.

That ending part though, the part that goes on throughout the song but you first hear it with the whispers before the guitar right at the start. “Ching ching ching ching”

I remember playing WWF WrestleMania 2000 on Nintendo 64 & creating a gothic character. He had Gangrel's music & Kane's Titantron video!

They really screwed up letting him go. I remember being a kid buying all these albums of the themes and listening to them over and over. I just don't have that same passion for current themes. There's a couple good ones but over all they just don't have the same soul to them.
Everyone's theme was fire. There was definitely something special in the 90s. Even the mortal kombat video game soundtrack was fire
I love the Brood’s theme and entrance, they were badass during their time together. The theme is one of my all time favorites, I still listen to it every now and then.
Yeah gangrel's entrance is awesome. Edge and Christian got lucky to join gangrel to form the brood cus he could have just walked down there without them like before
I was so hyped when that theme returned with Gangrel & Viscera in 2004 ... and after 1 match he was fired again. -,-
Constantly referred to as one of his greatest work, lauded all over the world for 20+ years, it's the exact opposite of being "underrated". It's fabulous, and what's amazing is that someone so boring and uncharismatic on interviews could do music with so much emotion. 5 stars.

I've legit said this since 98, Gangrel's/The Broods theme was the most badass theme, and best theme in the history of WWF/E. The entrance was even more dope too.

The Brood's theme is his greatest creation in my opinion with Taker's 1998 theme being #2.
This is literally one of the greatest theme songs of all time...one of my favorites. The man is a musical genius.

Jim Johnson should be in the hall of fame. His entrance themes are iconic.
"Blood" is absolutely one of the most underrated entrance themes of all time. It still hits 20+ years later
Sweeping the bands like that each on a different channel at slightly different frequencies creates sort of a comb filter effect, which is very similar to what I hear on that theme. Pretty cool! this has always been one of my favorite entrance themes. I love pretty much everything Jim wrote back in the day.
The lyrics are actually "I buried Paul" in a reference to the Paul McCartney is dead conspiracy theory. I looked into years ago and even tried it out.
Besides the legion of doom entrance, that was and still is my top entrance theme. Very Chilling as a kid. Brood rules.
The Attitude Era wouldn't have been as big as it was without this man's music. His themes made that era pop and Gangrel's theme was one of the best from that time. It was the perfect marriage of music and gimmick.
This theme…is something else. When I was younger, I loved everything about Gangrel. He was 100% all in and I think that’s why.

WWE desperately needs this guy back. The entrance themes that new wrestlers have are so generic and boring. Back in the Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression Era, every theme fit the personality of a wrestler and sounded so iconic
