DonBros overall was PEAK greatness for all of last year and is coming in strong in 2023. The characters are amazingly executed and gets you invested to the point that when the plot hits, you feel the stakes.
I have many favourite moments in 2021, but I'll just list it down 1) Don Onitaijin debut 2) Jack Revice debut 3) Kaito, getting the Zenkaiju Gear 4) The usage of Fever Slot Buckle
My biggest moment of 2022 was the whole of the Geats Christmas special, episode 16… god, it was incredible. The plot twists, the action, Keiwa and Neon outsmarting Giroli, and Niram killing/erasing him off after the Riders finally defeat him is so satisfying, and of course the big final reveal that the DGP is a reality show, finally making all the stuff about Neon’s dad make sense. Hell, it was the first thing I watched in 2023 and I still remember not being able to sleep on Christmas night and watching the moments from it at like 4am and my jaw dropped. It scratches my brain a lot, and honestly Geats has been my biggest hyperfixation lately it’s just… so awesome
Donbrothers is such a peak season for me, and it has easily become one of my favorite sentai even though we still have 5 episodes to go. As a sentai fan, I legitimately enjoyed every season from kyuranger onwards with ryusoulger as an exception, which makes a 5 out of 6 good seasons for me. I'll also mention some of my favorite moments in 2020-2022: - Episode 33 of Kiramager where Juuru and Tametomo are fighting on the ground, with mech fights happening simultaneously - Episode 40 of Zenkaiger where Kaito takes his dad back - Episode 27 of Donbrothers with Taro VS Sonoi and *how dare* they redo that in episode 32 And many moments in Donbrothers were up there as well.
UncreativeIdiot is also me, so i ended up showing up in the video twice, but yeah loved Black Sun, Black was my introduction to KR(tho Build and Ex-Aid are what really made me love Toku as a whole)and the show was really fun and Black Sun Vs ShadowMoon was an standout moment for me.
First full year being a Tokusatsu fan. Got into Kamen Rider Zero in 2021 and been hooked on different Kamen Rider seasons since, Revice, Black Sun & Geats were all great this past 2022!
I think Decker has alot of my favourite moments like the debut of Decket Dynamic,future Decker and Dyna's return. It has been a fantastic time for the Toku community and the Toku industry so far like I generally love both the community and the industry for 2022.

Zenkaiger was mostly comedic episodic season But man sure did I love it Binged it for 2 weeks before DonBros premiere Kaito's Rock Paper Sissors last game was just amazing, and God being the ultimate antagonist just makes it all work Speciallly with how Kaito was looking outside of his imagination, talking and playing rock paper siccors with himself outside of his head

Also I don’t want to gloss over JDF’s death. I personally do not watch power rangers (Sentai is more of my thing [Even if I haven’t been watching Donbrothers]) he was just such an icon to the community and I knew how much he meant to so much people so I couldn’t help but feel sad. In my personal life this past year has been so difficult, but everyone can persevere through in the end
My favorite moment from 2022's Tokusatsu has to be the scene in Kamen Rider Black Sun where Kotaro talks to Aoi before eating Heaven, especially the part where Kotaro says that his past self from 50 years ago is constantly watching over him, I crying like a little bitch it was sooooo go!!!Black Sun itself is my favorite thing from 2022!
I had a lot of great moments in 2022, it was a pretty good year for Toku, moments such as Donbrothers and Geats' premieres were really great and enjoyable for me
For me I would say my favorite moment was really anything tycoon related, however if I had to pick I would say kamen rider tycoon ninja first henshin and ninja boost. For sentai easily all of donbrothers
There are too many awesome moments Hakura's relationship with Momoi throughout the season is really good. Sakuras storyline with Aguilera cumlating with her being Hana again nd tht sick Kamen rider Aguilera first henshin. In Decker Kirino's talk with kanata in the season finale before the equally sick fight with mother sphere
Kamen rider destream vs Kamen rider crimson vail is definitely the best scene in Kamen Rider Revice. Ultraman Decker definitely had improvements compared to Ultraman Trigger but Ultraman Z is still the best in Reiwa. As for power rangers cosmic fury, this thing is either standing its ground or being a big mess. Donbrothers is getting A+‘s with almost all the episodes and no F-‘s are ever gonna be given.
I love the whole weird love triangle story with Kijino, Tusbasa and Miho/Natsumi/Crane Juto. Who would have thought the CGI rangers would have an interesting part in the show lol

I think I've learnt that I like difference compared to the norm of the franchise. Revice, Geats and Donbrothers really showed that. Revice felt like a family(ies) drama first and a rider show second. By the end, I was really enjoying what was happening with the characters more than the fighting and forms themselves and although silly the final "fight" was sad ( I do think showing vice in trailers for the crossover movie wasn't a good idea though). The show only has 2 bad suits to me Holy live and Thunder Gale but even then all Gale needed was a proper repaint and it looks good (the stage shoe form) Donbrothers well being Donbrothers I can't explain this show and if it sticks the landing it will finally knock off Gokaiger off as my favourite sentai Geats with how different it is compared to usual rider shows and how it really has stuck to the premise even now which is surprising to me That Saber movie, for the many things I don't like about Saber it is the only rider show to end on such a high note

Can we plz address how much a pain in the ass it was to get access to watch black sun? Seriously I woke up early to finally watch it and then I find out it released in separate times in different countries!!! And even when it was time to watch it I still couldn't watch it till 2 hours later. The worst 2 hours of my life as a tokusatsu and Kamen rider fan ever!!! But hey it was worth it because Black sun is awesome!!! Watch it if u havent!!!
Love Geats and Decker. Absolutely hated Black Sun. I never really gave Revice a try, I guess the suit just didn't do it for me, but I am highly optimistic about the future of Tokusatsu.
I might be the only Black Sun hater, but it's too woke and Black Sun finale is nothing compared to the Kamen Rider Black finale. If anyone has only seen the Black Sun show please watch KR Black or just the finale if you don't like old Kamen Rider shows and tell me the new one is better. The OG Shadow Moon is sick and fucked up in the head in the original. And I was expecting new Battle Hopper to be similar to the old Battle Hopper except for for some modernization and we got the modernized bike, but new Battle Hopper is a soul less bike
