i love her demeanor. It's like a mom explaining how to bake cookies but instead she's teaching us how to efficiently stab someone in the face or stomach without you getting stabbed back.
Nicole gives off such an enthusiastic energy when she's explaining stuff. It's really nice.
1:21 Hahah the biggest grin while stabbing someone in the face
I see you've brought a Steve, I shall counter wedge vigorously!
Awesome. The true fundamentals. I dont have a Steve. Can I use John? Maybe a Sam, how about a Marty? Thank u.
I get by pretty well with a Jeff and an Irwin, but I just lost my Thomas, which is sad cause it was in great condition. Maybe see if you can trade a few around to get a Steve?
This is so weird to read if u have no idea about this sport
"The pointy end goes into the other man" Alejandro De La Vega.
Poor Steve, can’t help but notice you aimed for his face every time! Brutal 😂
If you ever meet me in person you'll notice i do have a very large head. so its usually a primary target
Teach a woman how to use a weapon, and that built-in mean streak comes quickly to the for. No matter how well they hide it previously!
Fantastic HEMA rapier tutorial! Thanks 🙏🏼
Wow. That is probably the clearest explanation of how to gain control of the opponent's blade I've ever heard. Thank you!
Also... that has to one of the nicest practice swords I've ever seen with the pierced blade work!
Well made video, thank you!
such a clear explanation, loved it!
"What happens when your opponent creates a wedge against you?"
Me: Guess I'll die
Love your videos.
Ms. Smith has an infectious smile! Such a happy stabber! Better still? She explains well and clearly. An excellent combination! Thank you, Ms. Smith and Steve *finger-waves back*! =)
I love how she gives that cute smile while stabbing the opponent
perfect
There's a few different drills you can do with your Steve 😂
Me: (creates a wedge)
Opponent: (counter-wedge)
Me: Ah, now you've gone and crossed the l- (gets stabbed)
I love your videos .What rapier brand Nicole uses ,because it's magnificent?
Any advice on learning or instructors in NW Wisconsin? If not, what are the best videos?
Steve is our hero!
beautiful rapier!
I like this woman, she gets it
This itself is a great video, but i need all the basics. Anyone that knows groups, i havent been been able to find any.
Hello, can you please record a sword and buckler sparring video?)
We actually have a few on our channel already but there will more coming early next year once we finish renovations on our new site and Covid Restrictions relax :-)
Why do you retreat when you take the line back in opposition? Simply raising your point slightly should be enough to gain the degrees on the blade you need to change the engagement.
Pinch the handle with your fingers will give you good point control.
I should get myself a Steve...
I really appreciate all the awesome work you guys do for us, but please, PLEASE, stop talking to us like to pre-school kids! I know she's just being frendly, but come on, sometimes her voice goes so high it pierces my eardrums.
