Kev i know layups aren't simple to rank because layups have many facets to them and some packages are good in some areas and not so good in others but with that said what's your favorite layup package overall. i like LeBron because it's just launches my player violently forward into a fast layup animation. even I'm surprised when it happens farless for the defender
I heard good things about Lebron! But for overall, the Demar Derozan is probably the one I have the most fun with right now! But that’s because part of me prioritizes how good certain animations can look in combination with the moves I come up with! But I’ll look at this topic in more detail!

I have a 7’1” center with 92 block and I legit cannot block a floater unless it’s used in a dumb situation. Like it’s legit so insanely good this year.
For your mycareer build I saw the perfect build for you! 6’6 pg 91 layup 92 post control 93 middy 86 3 93 ball handle 85 perimeter defence 84 strength You can also replicate the build as a 6’8 pg to get 96 strength and hof bulldozer! The ball handle does drop to 85 though
If your RS is set to default pro stick, you can shoot with the RS still. So just hold down on RS while you approach the basket. But as an alternative just hold square and hold down on the left stick to initiate a floater with the shot button. Make sure you generate enough momentum going to the basket and are in floater range. Otherwise you just might execute a dribble pull-up.
Can some1 tell me how to make players pop ....I know when u call for a screen u switch to pop instead of roll,but I see ppl pop n there player goes behind 3pt line ,when I choose pop they don't do that,they jus don't roll??????

I don’t think they’re broken per se! The contact floaters are tougher to hit than people think, and I think regular floaters as a mechanic are just not something most people are prepared to defend. But scoop layups, and layups in general are so good this year!
77 layup gets you gold float game badge. With gold float game you are able to float more consistently than dunk with a 93 (Posterizer Gold) driving dunk. Once people realize this, floaters will be nerfed. Been saying this since day1
Floaters won't get nerfed. The only reason dunks don't work how they should is because of a coding error. Once that's fixed which they already said they are, everything will be fine
I always loved floaters in real life NBA, and I always used them in 2K even if they were easy to block... Glad they improved them this year.

Yeah, there are some real elite floaters too that make it so tough! They extended the range of some of them too!

for floaters specifically, I'd say go with Ja, Steph if you're a fan of their style. But Booker, Luka, Demar, and Jokic (for bigs) are also excellent!

Maybe you can try the icon passing and make them move to the 3 point line by holding the LS to lead the player while you press the corresponding icon

How do you floaters if you use buttons and not RS?
Its a little tough, but you got to hold the left stick down or away from the basket then hold square.
