I was there many many years ago when Mrs. Timkin, the wife of the founder of the Timken, bearing company, accompanied by the bass commander blue her Learjet, 23 from her home in California to donate it to the museum. When she landed, the press was standing by and interviewed her she said this old bird needs a rest just like me! By the way, she was the pilot in command! And she was 93 years old at the time her and her late husband depended on this aircraft in order to conduct the business of the international Timken bearing company.
30:09 such a beautiful plane. I worked on that very PV-2 back in the early 90’s. The museum gave us permission to take whatever we wanted from the inside so we could make ours back home complete. In return we gave them all the components they needed to make the outside complete. Side note, we didn’t have any Harpoon props, so those props are actually off a B-17 that were cut down and repainted. If anyone visits the museum you’ll notice that all the props are labeled with sequential numbers.
It's a museum and long-term reserve storage in case of national emergency. I take it you haven't served. I probably flew on one or more of those aircraft paying the price for the freedom you live under. Kindly refrain from insulting these old, honored remains. It's like walking into a national cemetery and pissing on the graves.
Looks like video from the Pima County Air Museum and the Air Force facility nearby where aircraft are preserved for spare parts or even returned to service or sold to other countries. Both locations are in Tucson AZ.

Various treaties require the outdoor display of military equipment taken out of service, so the signaturers to a treaty can view the actual count of disarmed units taken out of service by their various satellitesduring scheduled fly overs.
Most all of the military airplanes on display, are basically still military property, many civil a/c on loan. many of the airplanes exist no where else!

Some of these planes are one off demonstration aircraft that were rejected by the military for witch they were built, in Competition With other aircraft manufacturers. Every year, there are a lot of these planes reconstituted and given to our allies. The planes that you see that are sealed up are pretty much ready to go right now! during the golf war I saw them bringing them in to the hanger area and Going over them and preparing them for redeployment. The Philippines received a lot of surplus C-130’s as well as UH 1 helicopters.
That 172M in the graveyard / boneyard is comparable to what the local flight school rents at KVUO... it's beautiful here, but the airplane rental situation in the area is about as disappointing as USA MAGA propaganda - unbelievable. thanks for sharing

Find him on (pornhub) He was in the USAF as a fighter pilot in the secret X-69 fighter! But his Jake became entangled in the ejection seat 💺 and when he tried to adjust himself while running from a flight of North Korean “ Diesel Jets” His wazzojukis triggered the eject handle! And he went ass over teakettle!”

This operation is most unique! The 56th Aircraft reclamation & storage facility is part of Davis - Monthan Air Force Base . It’s the only duty station in the United States that is always commanded by Birkenstock wearing obese full Colonels! Why? And for that, the Big girl will always get on the bus as it’s coming into the flight line and greet all of the tours! There are probably 200 civilian workers there all of which are veterans with many hundreds of hours of highly skilled experience on these very aircraft. I’m told there are only six uniformed personnel! So the colonel needs something to do and I think it’s wonderful. She has time to get on the bus as it stops. Buy her a little office. I’m not trying to be facetious, but every time I have taken the store, there has been a different middle-age or over middle-age female 06 colonel!
Really stupid title! First 1/2 is what most refer to as a museum. OLD aircraft with a history that should not be forgotten. Second half is mostly outdated or used up airliners with a few that are in long term storage. If you don't know anything about what you are talking about you should NOT be posting videos about "it".
