Ya know, I look at this and think of Spyder, of course. I then think why I resisted Can Am over the years and it comes down to styling and reliability. This Honda wipes those concerns away in one fell swoop. What an incredible looking device. I would buy in a heartbeat! The fact it is Honda would also wipe all my reliability concerns away instantly. Everything will simply work. Bring it on!!

There actually is quite a bit of the basic features listed. Of course it’s just a prototype! I wonder if it will make it into production.

I’m able to see a fantastic business case for this as a rental service. The solid boxer engine, electric motors and stable three wheeler configuration should make it very popular,
Very exciting but I'm afraid of the price. Tilting front wheels provide an experience very close to a motorcycle but amazing braking, cornering and safety and comfort of 3 wheels and finally narrow profile allowing for lane spitting and perpendicular parking. Better in many ways than Can-Am's spyders.
The first thing that I looked at was the possibility of lane-splitting.
Don't get too excited Paul... This machine in all likelihood will never see the shores of America."IF" it is ever production built, which may never happen, it will probably be introduced in Asia, and then Europe first. America is usually last to see Honda's most innovative products... too bad...

I checked it out here in The UK and it's looking to be North of £25k, ouch! The new Goldwing is going to be £24.5k.

just sold my Can Am Ryker. It has a market for beginner riders. I think This version of 3 Wheel motorcycles will be the best experience for 3 wheels.

Looks fabulous... But honestly guys, Honda has been parading this Hybrid Trike out every year for the past 5 years or so and it's never been released at any dealership...
I'll believe it when I see it for sale in a dealership.. Like I used to tell my kid brother from time to time, "I hear you humming...but I never see you coming"!

the NeoWing is a concept bike from many years ago... i don't think they'd ever release this.

They should add panniers and rear luggage. This definitely can easily replace the Goldwing. Add in a half-canopy for rain, and it’ll be perfect for cross-country adventure. 👍😎

The only thing in common with the Can Am is the 3 wheels. Nothing can replace the Goldwing & Goldwing Trike. Pincel of motorcycle luxury.

As long as Piaggio owns the patent on front end locking, they will always have an edge on the competition. For those of you who tested the Kimko, Yamaha, you understand what I mean.
I love my Yamaha tricity 300 never had the mp3 version as Yamaha are more reliable
@@matthewlamb1608 Piaggio came up with the concept, and it surprisingly did pretty well in Europe. Especially with car drivers. When the other manufacturers realized Piaggio's idea was not for a niche market, they joined on.
That in turn obliged Piaggio to improve their quality assurance.
But the front locking is really a big advantage, especially for less experienced drivers.
I had a 2009 MP3 50cc scooter. After the second piston crack I gave up on it. A dependable engine makes a difference!
Surely you mean the 500cc,I have a 300cc 12 plate and no problems on a daily 46 mile round trip to London and home.

Over the years I have owned and ridden two wheel bikes including a Kawasaki Voyager 1700, a Piaggio MP3 400 and a Can Am Spyder. I haven't ridden this machine. I can see some comparisons between this and the Spyder in that the front wheels are set well apart as opposed to the Piaggio where the wheels are much closer together. The three wheels obviously make for greater grip and stability but the leaning feature of both the MP3 and this machine are much differernt from the Spyder. It does not lean or counter steer in fact you need to learn a whole new set of skills to ride the Spyder or at least forget what you know about 2wheelers. I don't doubt the quality of the Honda or how well it is built. It appears to be shaft driven with a manual transmission whereas all Spyders are now dual clutch semi automatic transmissions. I can see where using the Spyder for context would help viewers understand the machine.
Spyders and Rykers, just think fast 4 wheeler. That's how they handle, only problem is CanAm's customer support is garbage, they refuse to address issues w with their Rykers. So, highly doubtful we will purchase another CanAm bike

Been waiting on HONDA to come on with this model of their three wheeler since 2015 , I will purchase this HONDA if it meets meets three requirements adjustable wind screen,for me only 1200,1600 or 1800 cc's will do for me, priced below YAMAHA'S AND BIG TIME PRICED BELOW HARLEY DAVIDSON'S THREE WHEELERS WHICH THEY CURRENTLY HAVE TWO MODELS, I OWN ONE OF THEIR MODELS, IF I DON'T SEE THIS MATERIALIZE IN 2023 I'LL BE GOING TO BOSS HOSS FOR THEIR THREE WHEELER WITH A V-8 ENGINE
