Barbershop fragrances are making a comeback! It seems I’m not the only one who’s tired of men’s colognes getting too femenine and sweet lately. Time for true manly, fresh scents to reign supreme again 💪🏽

I would like to say only and only thing, I have tried your parfum Gravitas, and being a barber shop type of smell fanboy , found the new modern dream scenerio touch , like a dream come true for me so please stop being complacent and no need to do down to earth and own the beauty of which you are some part of creation and have put your hard work, just to clear , I want you to add this in countdown as it is no less than sartorial in my book and perhaps some would like it even better

    Roja Scandal and Danger
Hermes Equipage, fantastic Guy Robert creation from the 60’s I think. And it’s younger sibling Equipage Geranium by Jean Claude Elena, both fantastic.
Another I’d like to add is a discontinued but still obtainable and that is Sybaris by Antonio Puig just a FANTASTIC fougere.
An obvious modern day classic by Tom Ford and that’s Beau De Joir.
And finally to kind of wrap things up I’d easily say B612 by Nishane another beautiful fougere

Got a bottle of Gravitas the other day. Took me ages to figure out what it reminded me of. I first leaned towards Aventus for some reason. But something kept telling me it wasn't that. Then later I realized, it smells mostly like Sartorial, which is my favourite smelling fougere. The only problem is that Sartorial only lasts a few minutes. If you like Sartorial but hate its performance. Get yourself a bottle of Gravitas. Amazing performance, and trust me my skin chemistry is toxic, it just drinks fragrances. So if it lasts all day on me, it'll last a good few days on everyone else. Even after putting my shirt through the wash it wreaked of Gravitas. That stuff sticks to your clothes like flies on shit.

The irony is classic barbershop products are exceedingly basic, yet here are these luxury-niche "only the finest" perfume brands trying to deliver the same experience for exponentially more money. Emperor's new clothes syndrome in fragrance form.
That said, there are some phenomenal-smelling "Barb-O-Luxe®™" fragrances out there, but $7 Clubman Pinaud is still more authentic (at least for US barbers).

It is perhaps my all time favourite but I don’t quite get a barbershop feeling from it . It could be seen as such though .

Invasion Barbare to me doesn't smell like a barbershop fragrance at all, to me it smells like floor cleaner.
