For anyone wanting to pop your own popcorn on the stovetop, I highly recommend using a wok.
The slope of the sides causes the unpopped kernels to fall down into the oil. Meanwhile, the popped ones jump up to the top which stops them from getting burned.

Honest review: Okay so I tried making this (using the video and description as guides) and I gotta say, it's definitely not for beginners. But my final thoughts are 8/10. Some popcorn can have a chewy toffy taste on it with sweet caramel which is nice, while other will have a chocolatey flavour. The only reason it doesn't get a 10/10 is just because of preference. For anyone wanting to try this here are some notes:
When heating up the sugar you need it on very very low heat - Yeah, it'll take time, but it's worth it as sugar burns easily. When adding the milk and butter you also need to be careful since cold stuff and hot stuff is not great - I heated up the milk in the microwave beforehand, and then slowly stirred it. I let it go like that for 10 minutes until I smelled a good toffy smell and made sure to give it some time and stir every so often.
Also, don't put too much chocolate, I put like 9 cubes in a pan over a bigger pan with water to melt the chocolate and I think it was too much, I recommend maybe like 7 cubes.
how big is a cube of chocolate? like i dont think thats a measurement for anything
@@ARM0RP0WER You don't have to be exact. If it makes it easier I would say a cube is around a tablespoon. You need enough for you to be able to pour it but don't add too much or it will overpower the toffy taste, around like 1/3 - 1.5/3 of a cup or something. It's unfortunate they didn't mention exact chocolate amount but from my experience it's more of just how much you feel is good to add.
