What a crying shame and sadly all too common! Not just for the obvious visible signs of the dead fish that there for anyone to see, but the whole river ecosystem, plant life, invertebrates, basically the whole food chain and life blood of the river. I hope they track down the polluter and they throw the bloody book at them in court. How this is still happening in this day and age is beyond belief! When I first seen the way the fish were I suspected something had taken the oxygen out of the water, the ammonia explains it and yes it will be many years before any fish life comes back as that stuff is extremely dangerous even on land. So sad to see but thanks for the video bro. ATB
they will go upstream until they find good water and then look around. there will be a pipe for drainage or a field that just got worked or tire tracks down to the waters edge. People are quick to blame farmers but traffic accidents deliberate dumping and other criminal acts could be the blame also. They will publish the source of contamination.

Farm slurry pit dumped its contents I think, slurry is very high in ammonia. Sad
It's also the chain reaction for other wildlife that will also suffer

It wasnt anything too do with farms it was omex chemicals at bardney such a shame for the local area and beyond
