No disrespect to this rabbi, but i think there are some other rabbis much more equiped with deep conversation esp in the mystical and spiritual. (I am a Torah observant jew so i am also speaking from experience). Another is Rabbi Dov Ber Cohen. And also Rabbi Akiva Tatz. Make it happen! It'll be very interesting. Rabbi Akiva Tatz has a book titled Letters to a Buddhist Jew. Rabbi Dov Ber had a long 5 to 7 year pilgramage through asia and india, trained with monks, etc. (,his book is called Mastering Life) But much respect to this rabbi and his outstanding humility. It's so funny to witness these people and even the Rabbi frantically trying to trap Sadhguru's insights and answers into their own interpretations and then miserably failing to do so. Hinduism is boundless and advocates the same. There is nothing to teach and so you would rarely find a true Hindu trying to disseminate the 'so called word of the ultimate supreme someone'. Also the reason why Hinduism isn't keen at all on conversions as the other revealed religions of the world are. It is sad to see people reduce Hinduism to a religion!

The method Jewish people traditionally access mystical aspects of life is through intellect means. There is a rich world of spirituality that is simple and that is self evident. However the methodology that is used specifically for Chabad is to intellectually understand them so they are translatable to others in every aspect of life. Most people aren’t having a spiritual dialogue everyday, or even consciously recognize this dimension of life. So the goal is that this dimension is revealed even for them from the get go so there are less spiritual hurdles and future generations can reach higher pursuits more easily. It’s the same goal as sahdguru just different practical methods.

Very enlightening conversation. But as Rabbi suggest, I do feel sometimes Sadguru tries to overplay it and I see there is a desire (or in his own words, compulsiveness) to see things differently and to contradict others views. For eg, that "uneducation" part is totally baseless. It is going nowhere. I mean, a child is uneducated for sure and more lively. But one dont need to be uneducated to be more lively as he suggest. A child's liveliness dont come from his "lack of education" but his ignorance and incapability of understanding things. But A child is 100 times more dependent on others for his needs than an adult. So he is more "lively" because his fundamental needs are taken care by others. But human beings aspire to be blissful with knowledge not with lack of it. Thats what Hindu dharma talks about. Thats what our sages did. Our sages are great not because they are poor in intellect but because they experienced things that are beyond intellectualism or "ultimate truth".

One (Shri. Rabbi), is with all humbleness with life experiences and another (Shri. Jagadeesh Vasudev), is with the inferiority complex, so always cunningly trying to exhibit his superiority... the self-boosting... as usual...
In one of his earlier talks, he mentioned Yasoda's, 'mother's love towards Krishna' changed as a 'Gopika' love and got jealous of another 'Gopika' Radha... Unknowingly he projects his own culture in that story...
But anyway, in his shameful, superiority complex showmanship story version of his mother 'touching his feet' ('a papa karma'), his mother got lucky that he didn't mention her as a Gopika. In that way, we are lucky too...
"Even if I (Shri. Jagadeesh Vasudev himself calls 'Sadhguru' without understanding the meaning of it) make you the king of this Planet"! Even in these words, he tries to put himself in the superior to hide his inferiority complex and guilt...
One businessman, started considering his 'Path maker' a Sadhu/Thuravi/Sanyaasi, as his God and the Giver of all his business upliftment and other positive things that happened to him...
One day the 'Path maker' told him that he wanted to meet him... This businessman went to him with all sorts of offerings...
But the 'Path maker' said to the businessman, you are considering me like the God who gave all this wealth to you... Please don't do that because it is not true...
All your happenings are due to your Janma karma phalam/after effect of your deeds... I am a tool by the 'The Almighty' to inform certain truths, which you deserve due to your karma...
So, consider me as a 'Path maker' only... the reality...
Everyone desires to live a good life and be happy. Desire is healthy but it becomes destructive when one has an excessive desire for something...
Sometimes excessive desire morphs into obsession. When one is obsessed, they cannot stop doing something and they often lose control of their lives.
Desire is a disease. Desire means that right here and now you are not at ease, and something else in the future, if fulfilled, will bring you peace and happiness. This tension of the mind for the future is desire. Hence, whether fulfilled or not, every desire leads to suffering and misery...
When somebody tries to fulfill/achieve all the desires in one lifetime… naturally they will be in the pool of suffering and misery…
So, if somebody advises others ‘to have desires for all things… and achieve it’… means…
he/she is in that pool of suffering and misery… and out of guilty fear… trying to pull others in that pool… so he/she has more support from such like-minded people… to hide the guilt...
By doing this he/she feels like the ‘hero’ of such people… and has increased desires and fulfills it with ease…
When such people’s numbers increase, he/she can act as their 'God' of them… God of hidden guiltiness…
They will act as the embodiment of all so-called good things to hide their egoistic desires...
But unknowingly… it is an act of digging the hell for themselves… mind becomes a machine… needs oiling… and ends up with inner/internal engineering…
As an aftereffect… mother nature’s motherhood nature may change uncomfortable for livelihood, and humanity will suffer from this act…
Naturally, these acts end up in big disaster… This sort of people will call 'Karma Phalam' as 'nonsense' to hide...
If we really want Peace… we should get out of this destructive illusionistic way of living… the aftereffects/’Karma Phalam’… of egoistic desires…
And try to realize our desires like the Great Saints/Maha Rishis… of our Human race… and follow the uncomplicated way of living concerning all.
When we are in an equilibrium stage to listen to our inner voice, we can realize 'Karma Phalam/after effect of the doings'... Understanding 'Karma Phalam' is the Bodha/Realization. If anybody realizes it, then they will lead a simple life... Naturally, their actions will be in tune with Nature.
The pain of this humanity and nature happened due to the aftereffect of the uncontrolled desires of human beings...
In this world, everybody is on a level aware of the aftereffects of our excess desire… and is trying to overcome it…
But it is difficult due to the world of desires and struck in that…
So, the one who can realize the aftereffects of excess desires… and try to overcome it with an uncomplicated way of living without gimmicks and roaring... only can have the change from it… this vibration naturally will vibrate the one who came for that…
The great Path Makers of humanity say… nobody can’t change anybody without practicing it in their own life…
So, can try to change ourselves… with deep prayer and good doings with the Grace… the Mercy… And it may inspire others… Not by advertisement and paid media backing...
There are a lot of people with deep prayer, silently working for the upliftment of humanity and other beings…
While plucking a leaf, they used to think twice about whether it was necessary or not… They try to lead a simple life… This ‘pulse’ we must spread by implementing it in our own life…
The one who adopts this way of living… naturally their life will be in peace… in harmony with nature… the real yoga bhava…
In Maha Guru's name wish to happen good things…
