What is the mantra to be chanted during pooraka and rechaka?
Gayatri mantra. But like this "om bhu om bhuvaha om suvaha om maha om janaha om tapaha om satyam.... so on.
I practice yajurveda sandhyavandana. We don’t give three surya arghya. Instead, second and third arghyas are given to Gayathri Devi. Request you to please confirm the correctness or otherwise of this practice. Secondly, at what stage should we chant narayana mantra after Gayathri Japa? Immediately,or at the end of sandhyavandana?
When You finish Gayatri. Before Dignamaskara , you should Do Matrukanyasa and Karannyasa and Narayana mantra

Head bath is not required to perform sandhyavandane.
Sir, Firstly, what is the significance and purpose of anga nyssa and Kara Nyasa? Secondly, during the sankalpa, we say “savitru naamaka Lakshminaraya preraNaya”, thus identifying sun with Narayana. But, during dhyana, we say “savitru mandala madhyavarti Narayanah...”. There’s distinction between sun and narayana. Can this apparent contradiction be explained?
Nice question. Pardon me as I am not acharya, but answering your question. As I Study in Gurukula . I know. Since my age of 13 I am doing Sandhyakaarya. Anga Nyasa is the stage where you will burn The Papa purusha or Kali, who is Disturbing us every second of our life to do sins. We have to do this as it is told by Sages itself. Here we will purify our Soul by first Drying up the Kali by Pradyumna Bhagwan , second Burn him by the name Of Sankarshana roopi Bhagwan and last will remove him from our left nose by Vasudeva Bhagwan. After this we will meditate The Almight in whole body. So that we can purely Concentrate and Apprehend him in our Utmost Sense. That is done by Karanyasa . Here we will do avahana of Narayanas Names. And Savitru Namak Narayana and Savitru Mandala Madhya varti Narayana are same. As example. If I am living in Gujarat someone will tell me The Gujarat Boy and someone will tell me the boy living in Gujarat. Both are same. Like that Vedas and Upanishad Canonize God in every angle of Semantic and Syntactic language. Distinction is there but Sun gets its heat and light only with the power of Naryana. As he only tells in Srimad Bhagavad Gita .There are thousands of contradictory words in Shastras but can only be interpreted by Ennoble Scholars like acharya. There are many more like him. Like Mahuli acharya of Mumbai. He is the Treasure Of Pure Knowledge. There are more purposes but . It will dry up my hand. When you meditate during Sandhyavandana. Pls meditate Narayana In the Mandala of Surya. The Sun is getting the light by Narayana himself. Hare Namaha. Sumedha
