i wanna know who dislikes this clip?!!?! Julie Andrews is timeless, classy, and impeccable!! she a dame!, knighted by the queen so there is no denying her amazingness
brooke618 I ask the same question! Who does not love my queen?
@@mlchc9004 I'm sure the people who disliked this are just jealous
I could stay and listen to her talking about The Sound of Music all day long.
I love her, she's such a great actress and yet so modest :)
Julie was my teenage crush, not only for her charm, but for her crystal clear voice which was so refreshing to hear time and again.
One thing that Julie and i share in common...is our birthdate, which is the first of October...although i am younger than her, Julie has maintained a lot of her old world charm, spirit, and vivacious voice ,inspite of undergoing an operation for her vocal chords....God bless Julie to live for many years to come.
Julie should get the next AFI Lifetime Achievement Award!!
I am so glad she has a speaking voice which was a problem after the surgery. I, too love to hear her speak. She is a special lady!!!
I agree with her; it is an incredibly beautiful movie - I think probably the most beautiful ever! And a large amount of its charm came from Julie. Thank you Julie Andrews for making it so amazing!
my love for this woman knows no bounds. she is so graceful, yet so personable. truly a beauty inside and out.
I just love her so very much! And how she says "this wonderful business of entertainment". Most people would say this is the devils business but she did everything right! She is so honest and she yes just did everything right. didnt get into drugs or anything bad! She is such a role model!!
She is so poised and pleasant. I really admire her. I can't imagine how painful it would be to lose that beautiful voice.
I love Julie. She never ceases to be amazing. Beautiful
"I want you to know that i did eat a lot of grass from the downdraft of that damned helicopter" Omg i love her! I will always love her and The Sound of Music, both are so classic and timeless!
Julie deserves to be honored by AFI!!!
I love her she is truly one of the finest actress's of all time. Why is it the London women are the greatest and most beautiful Dame Julie Dame Judi.?
Bluedolphingirl01 *Actresses
Comes from inside.
she is by far the most charming woman i have ever seen, in television or otherwise.
she could easily pass off for the queen. In fact, she should be !! :)

I love the movie, i watch it every year it comes on tv! I am an absolute, unashamed fan of sound of music and yes, i am YOung!
Julie is too too amazing & beautiful!
Love her so much! Loved the crab move and the "Roll 'em", the latter being a reference to S.O.B.
Julie Andrews is a treasure!
She is a great public speaker I have to say. So organized but still with so much peraonality and humour...I love her, can you tell? ;)
Julie Andrews IS THE BEST of the best! Long Live Julie!!!!! :)
She really is practically perfect in every way. :)
The Sound of Music was a beautiful, kind of corny movie in a world desperate to forget the cruelty of war. Perhaps today in our rather violent circumstances, we need another corny movie to remind us that love, happiness and song is all we need to get us by. Congratulations to Julie, always sweet, always loving.
Yeah, I was hoping she'd tell some new anecdotes, too. I've heard about the helicopter, the boat scene, the rain/cold countless times.
musicaltheatergeek79 me too but I never get tired of them. She reminds me in a way of my maternal grandmother who would tell the same stories a million time but us grandchildren never got tired of them.
I absolutely love her!!!!!!!!!!
i would love to hear some more story
I LMAO when she said she was flattened by the jet helicopter down draft! And poor gretel. Julie Andrews is hilarious and awesome. She's such a charismatic person. I wish she could keep on talking, telling those stories from SOM.
Awesome.
Julie you are amazing...beautiful and a real queen...God bless u queen Clarisse Renaldi
So elegant, classy, and regal!
thanks for posting!!
Thank you Dame Julie for the Greatest Movie Musical EVER!!!!!!
a beautiful movie
She should talked about the gazeboo scene too...they made that scene several times...because Christopher Plummer and her didn't stop laughing...
one must appreciate this... she has grown, matured -- she can't twirl on a mountain anymore, jaja, but she did it like no other.
Sorry I did not see this until now. She has surgery in 1997 and it destroyed her singing voice except the lower notes. She was in NYC and did receive a settlement from the surgeons and hospital. I don't know if she can whistle or not, but I imagine that she can. She now writes children's books with her daughter, Emma, and she does many book signings when books are released. She turned 77 in October. She is such a special lady!!!
I wish I could have been there for real! :)
What polish! And remember, ber this was a woman without much formal education whose whole education has been in show business. Obviously, though, of high intelligence. So many British actresses have this quality. For them theatre is an education of the greats worth. On totally different but parallel note. Clint Eastwood came from an even more humble background but his interviews reveal a sign quality of which he himself seem ignorant. He seems totally unaware of his own quality.
@ChestnutChessy she's talking about Gretl (the youngest in the film) who accidentally drowned in the boat scene...
Sheesh, no-one drowned.
jsarahina- The young lady of whom you speak I can assure you is NOT DEAD... I met her seven years ago....there is a quote from President Lincoln which said "IT IS BETTER TO REMAIN SILENT AND THOUGHT A FOOL THAN TO OPEN ONES MOUTH AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT".
😁
Artistry incarnate!
I love Julie Andrew.
@martinbeco well most musicals have a level of corniness to them...that's why people love them cuz they're feel good movies. they make you forget about the world and just enjoy the music and the scenery.
you rock Julie whoohoo yay right on
When she said, "roll 'em," I couldn't help but think of when she said that in SOB. Her character was stoned out of her mind, right before her "boobie" scene. That was probably the funniest I have ever seen her.
Hollywood wäre nichts ohne diese Stars................
she is perfect
how do u do the heart
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
@potterfan1995 LIKE MARY POPPINS PERFECT IN EVERYWAY.
Elizabeth Ruocco
lol Poor Julie getting flattened by the helicopter. Seriously classy woman. Breathaking.
actually she's "practically perfect in every way" hahaha Mary Poppins lol
A shelf of cheeses if ever I've seen a page.
