Even Local HR sell Singaporean out. The root of the problem is supply and demand.
Back in the 90s, large number of Chinese construction firm were allowed to bid for the Government project starting from HDB and later extended to MRT projects. These China construction firm somehow were able to bring in their own huge influx of cheap labour from their country without much restriction while the local construction firm are tied to hiring local workforce. Soon after, the local SMEs demand the same treatment. This is where all the hell break loose.
It then begin to spread to the other industries, like IT sector (tradition workforce from India), F&B sector (tradition workforce from Philippine) etc etc. When the Government can't set a good example, don't expect the other private business to do so. You lost the moral high ground for the enforcement. Period!

(The Difference Between Amateurs and Professionals)
Amateurs don’t have any idea what improves the odds of achieving good outcomes.
    Professionals do.
Amateurs believe that the world should work the way they want it to.
Professionals realize that they have to work with the world as they find it.

Why is our government denying we Singaporeans of all these rights making our lives so tough? I only vote for the party who cares about the people not the party who care about whether Singapore is number one in the world.

Dr Tan pointed out a real issue - HR. It is true!! Foreign talents, holding HR roles, do not have the mindset to protect Singapore or Singaporeans. Elite officers can fetch many real stories from locals especially those who were retrenched over the last two to five years, if they wanted to hear people voices.

I understand that Desmond Lim (helped/ advised)? TCB to setup his own party. Why ah? They cannot work together is it? So if Singaporeans vote for PSP and SDA, are they able to work together? If can, how come still need to split huh? If there are many oppo parties in parliament instead of working together as 1 party, will they be duplicating work? Like that 93 seats enough to solve Singapore problems or not? Or should we just vote for 1 oppo party? Or are they going to merge together to form 1 party later? Why later and not before huh?

Tcb seems like a fatherly and authentic minister. Also little wonder why the ruling party didnt want him to be an elected president. I'm confident if we could choose, halim ah would not be our choice. This is a real man who cares n loves his country. I really wish him the best in his campaign n the best of health. West Coast people u decide. Is HSK really worthy to be our next pm. There are other deputy pms who can take up this heavy responsibility. Just because they are of another race, doesn't mean they won't be deserving of the pm seat. They can go n learn how to speak in various languages to communicate with leaders from certain countries.

As minority 99% of job interviews HR were Chinese Singaporeans and always was told I was overqualified but lack mandarin which is needed to liaise with China. These are ang Moh companies so where the soul. Minority should never be refused job esp where English is language of administration. It's sad in our country touted as multiracial society yet even our ministers use words such as majority and minority in the same sentence. Why call us Singaporeans but still have divisions in CDAC, Mendaki, Sinda? Should this not b we just one nation fund? I saw a primary student kicked out twice by the principal of one of these bodies because her father was of another ethinicity and she was told to go to that body. At top we appear as one nation touting minorities are treated fairly but at ground level treated like 3rd class citizens
