In response to some of the inquires
1. Beach Handball is a best of three sets match, informally “half” for the first two 10-minute sets is common. I haven’t heard people refer to the sets as “games” as much as I’ve heard people refer to the whole match as a beach handball game.
2. “The greatest beach handball game ever” was the 2021 U17 European Championship final between Spain and Sweden, and the aforementioned superman was Oscar Johansson who made interceptions against Spain’s 9th and 11 shooters in what was ultimately a 22 person shootout Sweden won.
3. At Canary Islands in 2021 we won the first set of our last game in the tournament 32-30 against Germany, who finished 4th in the men’s competition in China, not Poland but we did win a pre-tourney friendly with Poland. Nonetheless twas a great time having you, Dale, and Mikey with us there, JD!
