Brilliant job! Thank you.
I had the utmost luck of working at The City Center while in college and saw Ms. Jamison dance Cry and Revelations multiple times even if I wasn’t getting paid. The memories are so powerful!!!!She was stunning, beautiful, and phenomenal!!!
I Love this woman
I saw Judith Jamison perform "Cry" twice. It was an honor to see her.
What a priceless, exhilarating conversation!!! Skilled and artful interviewing pulls back the veil and grants us a glorious glimpse of full, radiant, revelatory sunshine! An earful, a heart full, a soul full... THANK YOU sooooo much!!! 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Judith Jamison was spectacular in this role. She could cover the entire stage in one swooping movement with her long arms and legs. I've never seen anyone since who could match her brilliance.
Love. Mr. Alvin Ailey and 💘 Ms. Judith Jamison 💘 Philadanco. 💘 💃 Dance. Wonderful interview.
This was a beautiful interview. It was great to hear her talk about Donna Wood! Donna was the first person I saw performed the work. It was on video of course and Judith introduced her. I fell in love with this piece then and was captivated by every step! I prayed to one day see footage of Ms. Jamison performing the work and to see that happen this week was a dream come true. It was exquisite and moved my spirit to a place of jubilation. Thank you Hope for a great interview and Ms. Jamison for being the amazing being that you are. Your passion for dance and carrier of Mr. Ailey’s vision is beyond this world. What a treat to be living at this time to see it and continue to be inspired by The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre! 💚 :)
PLEASE publish DVD of Judith Jamison dancing Lark Ascending, Cry, and Revelation!!!! It was all on TV early 1970s!!
I don't see enough footage of Judith Jamison dancing on CZcams. There should be more.
I remember seeing Donna Wood in Detroit years ago but I ALSO was lucky enough to have seen Judith Jamison also. Will never forget it.
