TBH BC3, like most of the other tracks in this wave, feels like it could have been in the base game. It’s so innovative with how it was redone to the point that it’s on par with Donut Plains 3, which is more than I can say for Mario Circuit 3…

SNES BC3, easy S Tier on my list. Love how Nintendo put 1 remake of a Bowser's Castle in MK8.
This officially makes SNES Bowser Castle 3 the most heavily remixed course out of any the SNES courses, as well as being the SNES course that got the best retro treatment across Mario Kart history.

Also the only SNES course brought back in a modern main mario kart game if I'm not wrong. Edit: I'm wrong but it's the first time a Bowser Castle is returning from SNES in a modern game.

I always had a feeling that bc3 was made with 8 deluxe in mind but damn, I genuinely feel like the 8 version was made first with how good it looks, same with rainbow road

This looks lile a perfect overhaul! They really put in a lot into this version of Bowser's Castle! I think it's fitting they end it with one from the first Mario Kart, with all the upgrades from 8!

IT'S AN ABSOLUTE BANGER, and it ties everything good about the track together.

I hope it ain't hard even though I've been playing Mario art games a lot ever since SMK in the 90s and I've play #MK8D a lot ever since day 1 I'm still not as good as other people esp when people don't play fair so I'd like easy races but I' glad another SNES track came back even if I wish it was a different SNES track.
Fun Fact:
The SNES tracks in MK8DX (exept RR) have always been the 3rd counterpart. Donut Plains 3, Mario Circuit 3, and now Bowser Castle 3.
They even changed the color of the lava in the MK8DX version!!! 🤯🤯🤯

The track looks absolutely stunning in this remake and I already was in awe with the tour version. Your videos always made the wait for waves 3-5 easier for me Swiftjar. Can't wait for this final one!

I think because of the bricks in BC3 Tour remake being 3D gives the track a lot more depth in the MK8DX remaster because they look really good.

This course is the definition of an earned Glowup like it looks as fun to play as it is to play. The music genuinely hits SO HARD!

The upgrades in the Tour version were already great, but the ones in 8 Deluxe are even better, not only visually as expected, but also gameplaywise with the guaranteed addition of antigravity, new enemies/obstacles and most likely gliding, too!
The lava of SNES BC3 looks much better than vanilla's
Great to have the analysis and comparison series back swiftjar. This was one of the tracks I was most looking forward to, and it doesn’t disappoint it looks incredible. I think it’s one of the best remakes they have done in my opinion for the whole BCP. I always have a soft spot for SNES tracks as it’s the first Mario kart I played growing up. Can’t wait to play it😊🎉

I was not expecting this or any other wave 6 track to look this good. This one looks more like a remake than a remaster. I honestly wouldn’t mind if they gave this treatment to whatever their next game is in regard to remasters.
Well are going to talk about why you think Piranha Plant Pipeline was cut? Because the fact that it was cut just does not add up considering that all the other original Tour tracks have been preserved.
I’m so glad they kept the Bone Piranha Plants in the end. Initially I thought Nintendo removed them, but eventually I spotted them in a screenshot. I can’t wait to play Bowser’s Castle 3 for the first time.

Honestly, I am very happy that this version in 8 Deluxe is looking to be one of my new favourites, especially for being a completely revamped SNES track, I hope more Super Nintendo courses follow suit, like the GBA did!
The tour version has multiple different variants so it is likely that the course will change in the middle similar to the city courses including likely doing a lap backwards. Also, in at least one of the tour variants there is a glider section where you can land on the thwomps and trick so that isn't new.
The "multiple variants" it had are just the standard Trick and Reverse versions nearly all of the tracks in Tour have. There isn't any feasible way for them to do the backward lap gimmick in it

It appears as if Wii Rainbow Road isn't a section track. All we need to know is if it is 2 or 3 laps long.
I think it's just a simple ramp boost right close to the thwomps straight to the finish line probably to just perform a trick on them from another picture.

Incredible upgrades to a previously not super exciting track. It really looks awesome and I am really looking forward to finally playing another castle track. I listened to the mariokart 8 deluxe version of the song and it hits hard almost DS and Wii Bowser Castle level. But it is still a shame DS Bowser Castle might not be brought back again for awhile. That is my favorite Bowser Castle track in the series. Its a truly unique Bowser Castle that would look incredible in an updated version. Also, I can't wait for the Rosalina Ice World, Wii Rainbow Road, and DK Mountain updates. I will definitely watch those when they come out.
It's interesting how there is only 2 Bowser Castle's despite there being 96 courses. All other games had no more than 48 courses and still had at least 2. I felt there could be at least one more with there being 96 courses. However, at least we got another one and it looks really good so I can't complain about that.

Honestly, im just glad its a snes track in 8 thats not 98% flat, but add the fact the song isn't just the original, just enhanced, but actually remixed? Im actually hyped.

Im really glad to get it. We definitely needed a good bowser castle track in mk8, as the one in the base game is probably the worst in the series along with rainbow road. Sure id prefer DD or Ds but its fine.
Actually, snes rainbow road in mk8d has some barely noticeable elevation changes.

Note for madrid, if you look at it's individual spotlight and pay attention to how clustered the racers are, we find out that IT STARTS WITH MADRID 3, THIS IS UNHEARD OF.
Madrid 2 actually... 3 has a train station I think and a museum

I wish wegot Vanilla Lake or any other SNES track instead since we got only one SNES track 'I wish we got all SNES tracks' because I don't care much about lava tracks and I like snow and Winter is soon I also wish the track stayed the way it was in Super Mario Kart I like things from years ago staying the way we enjoyed them years ago its why I like SNES Rainbow Road and SNES Mario Circuit 3 being in #MK8D they're in the game and didn't get lots of changs but I'm glad Boswer Castle 3 is in #MK8D because its a Super Mario Kart track 'a game me and my brther used to play a lot and still is sometimes shown in @bluetvgames Tuesdays streams of lots of retro games suggested by lots of people in the chat'.
