President Nelson Invites Arizonans to Turn Homes Into Sanctuaries of Faith

- More than 60,000 Latter-day Saints and invited guests at a football stadium in Arizona were encouraged by a prophet Sunday night to increase their faith practices in the home.
President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taught Church members to do this by making their homes centers of learning and spirituality. Acknowledging that this will look a little different for everyone, he invited them to “pray each day intentionally” about how to do this. Such a cause, President Nelson said, “is that of Almighty God.”
President Nelson’s historic visit is believed to be the single largest gathering of Latter-day Saints in Arizona and among the largest crowds to hear a president of the Church in its 189-year history. He was joined at State Farm Stadium by his wife, Wendy, and President Dallin H. Oaks (one of his counselors in the First Presidency) and his wife, Kristen.
I love President Nelson so very much, and know that he is a true prophet of God!! I've heard so many government officials, who probably aren't members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, express gratitude for president Nelson, and what the members of the Church are doing to bless mankind. They express how important religions are in blessing others, and how important religious freedom is to us.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings!
Gracias y Gracias y Gracias y Gracias y Gracias y Grscias Y Gracias Amen

I love you President Nelson, you are such an inspiration to all. I also love you President Oak and thank you for being a great example to all.
I love our Prophet, so thankful for his guidence from our Heavenly Father
Could you provide one single prophecy uttered by this "Prophet"?
He is an amazing Prophet of God! 😇🌻🌻🌻We are all so blessed to have him guide us in our lives! The gospel is totally amazing!!!
@@FFM115 Just because you are Miserable in your life doesn't mean you have to spread you're dreadful attitude to others! Why are you here?
@@stardustgirl2904 why assume and label Dmmd as been miserable. Just because you think he is trying to spoil your illusion or vision of what you believe you label him miserable. He just asked you to qualify your statement. perhaps your just a very young easily influenced girl who believed everything you are told perhaps not!
President Nelson is a clever successful man that there is no doubt he wants to encourage you all to spread the gospel of Christ by opening your mouths which most of you do not except on your mission. This is a big sacrifice and to be commended but its mainly done to convert people who have another faith as most other people who have no faith dont care who thinks there right or wrong
He even has gone against the previous leadership inso much as to correct the branding of the church with its proper name but most of you have and will stick to mormon so you should wash your ears out.
No prophecies = no prophet. Even, Joseph Smith didn't get one right.
Growing Church throughout the world! Many people will know what is this church. Surely they will join.
Brother, did you not know that church is losing members at a faster rate than conversions. It experienced its lowest growth last year at a little over 1%. This growth rate is primarily due to births from its members.
Don't quit your day job!
I feel the Spirit so Strong when the Prophet Speaks , and Oak's is truly amazing !!!! The Gospel is True and amazing!
Oaks gives me heartburn.
The Spirit of God does not convey emotions, The Spirit of God is light and truth and conveys exactly that, light, knowledge and truth. If you are "Feeling" the Spirit then you are being deceived. Emotions relate to the flesh and Satan, entertainment industry and good marketing companies can easily manipulate peoples feelings. In fact many churches also use these techniques to cause "Good feelings" in people so they think that the it is coming from God.
@@FFM115 Don't tell me how to feel, I'm a Temple worker and the spirit of God is something I feel with me in my life! Yes truth and light are apart of the SPIRIT OF GOD!! IT HAS BEEN WITH ME SINCE I WAS 4 YEARS OLD!
@@FFM115 Having the Holy Ghost testify to your spirit is not emotion. It is spiritual communication. When we feel that communication we are referring to the spirit not emotions.

This is funny...! Last nite I was praying to our Heavenly Father about a synonym for the expression "packed with people" and at the very beginning of this video ,President Nelson speaks about being in a place "filled to the rafters". Ha..ha...These are the surprises we receive in our earthly experience....English is not my first language but by pricking up my ears I know I will diligently walk along the long and narrow paths leading to its mastery...! Lots of brotherly love to my American brothers from Chile ,nation our Prophet visited five months ago to dedicate a new temple to the service of the Lord...
@P8riot 77 . How fast I got an answer...! Thanks for your kind response. Hopefully someone with your decency to reply my humble greetings can get to be Stake President someday...I do know there'll even be a hoedown in heaven to celebrate that calling...!
@@carij5320 . Undoubtedly my heart bleeds for all those human beings ...Take for granted the day I get back to the House of the Heavenly Father I will ask him why their prayers were unanswered . @@Cyrusmagi You should ask the same question to the Catholic Church...Remember the Pope Pius XII ordered a policy of neutrality during the Second War and Vatican City was not occupied neither by the Nazis nor by the Allies.

he is a true prophet of God.he testifies of Jesus Christ wherever he goes
A different Christ
Another Jesus
All other Christians religious leaders do the same. A true Prophet declares prophecies, recieves and conveys true revelations from God, a true Prophet is not popular, worshiped, treated like a celebrity, does not ride in Limo, does not need bodyguards, a true prophet usually passes unnoticed, is often rejected even by his own people and those who claim to be believers, does not accept adulations, does not live off church money, boldly declares the truth to the world regardless of consequences, is not afraid of political consequenses, does not praise corrupt politics, is not politically correct and is very likely to be cast into prison or killed. A true Prophet clearly displays the power of God with him, heals the sick and performs miracles just like the prophets of old. God is the same always. If there is a Prophet today he is very unlikely to look like a religious leader, he will probably be labeled as crazy, apostate or something else but a Prophet!
And we women invite faith to turn men into dependable, caring, faithful men who treat women properly, care and take good care of them till the end and are reasonable in their demands otherwise we will not join any religions or marry ....
They already have their full reward on this earth.

How interesting to hear all the leaders so impressed and respectful of each other. We can learn so much from this example !
Perdon y perdon y perdon y perdon y perdon y perdon y perdon. Amen
I love you President Nelson.
Do you believe president Nelson is a sinner just like the rest of us?
@ce collie I only ask because he has yet to own any mistakes and faithful members would never dare point any of them out. I know some lds who think he is as close to perfect as you can get.
Its amazing to know that president nelson was only 4 hours from The Animas Ward here in Southern New Mexico..

What a prophet!! 💙💙💙
I've been a few meters away from three Church Presidents here in Chile...In 1977 I had the privilege to be stood up in the very entrance door from where President Kimball appeared to address his wise words to the members at Caupolican Theatre in Santiago ,the capital city ... In 2006 ,President Hinckley rededicated the Santiago Temple and for those mysterious things of life ,he got off his car along with a couple of brothers right in front of me and the past September although some security guys tried to prevent me from being next to him, I was lucky enough to see in the first row how President Nelson dedicated the Concepción Chile Temple. In a few words to me ,President Kimball was a prophet ,President Hinckley the owner of the members hearts and now President Nelson is the seer we've been waiting for decades ...(In his eyes shine the messages he speaks about...)
@@bernardocea119 Thank you for sharing your testimony. I am a convert to the church. I've been a member for 21 years. I've never had the privilege of being so close to a prophet. However, I do have a strong testimony that there is a living prophet today & that is President Nelson!! He is most definitely the Prophet for these last days!!! God bless!!💜💜💜
@@happylatter-daysaint3503 . Dear Friend ,I'm gonna tell you something that has invited me to ponder over and over what our Heavenly Father expects from me...Not only I've been close to three of our prophets ,but also the Dalai Lama ,the spiritual leader of the Nepal and the Catholic Pope John Paul II were practically by my side...The first one did it in 2006 when he came to Marriot Hotel in Santiago ,Chile and he gave a press conference at only four or five meters away from me and the second one who visited my country in 1987 preached at the Catholic Cathedral that is only five minutes from my house so when he left that building ,his motorcade abandoned Downtown Santiago precisely by my street so we exchanged glances for two or three seconds when he passed by my window....As a joke ,some friends usually tell me the day the aliens come to Earth they are going to ring my bell and tell me "Bernie ,here we are.., do you want a selfie with us...?"

So cool to see Bishop Beus, President Gilbert and my old friend Jackie. There were a lot of quality people in the Town Lake YSA ward.
Mormons look upon their prophet and apostles with such awe and adoration.
To the point of worship. It's more than just respect they can't do wrong in the eyes of lds members. Ask any faithful member to name one thing Nelson has said that is wrong and they won't.
@@tdubs5128 I heard that you're not allowed to speak to the apostles unless they speak to you first. And when one enters the room there's a hush and everyone is excited and exclaim, "Oh my gosh, it's an apostle!" It's very disconcerting.
@@rayma66 I was a member for 43 years but I never had a chance to speak to any of them. I know when I would attend conference we would all stand when the prophet would enter the room. The founder Joseph Smith was portrayed as almost perfect in their publications and movies. When you dive in you see a very disturbing figure of a man. A brilliant con man.
@@tdubs5128 And that's why ex-mormons feel duped. They're given an idealized image of the truth. Not even that...the truth is white-washed. It's out in the open now and I'm surprised that some mormons stay in the church when they know the truth.
@@rayma66 I'm surprised also.
I don't understand why there is so much worship and praise for these leaders.
We believe that the restored gospel would not be on the earth without the presence of a living Prophet, The First Presidency, and 12 Apostles living on the earth. They hold priesthood keys for the ministering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth. We love that Gospel and we love them for it. Hope that answers your question :)

How is faith different than believing ?
Wow that's an amazing question.... for a question to be of use it has to be framed with Faith in Jesus Christ and a loving Heavenly Father. To answer this question you need to act. to believe and not to act is just a step in the right direction but it isn't the full walk. In James 2:17 we learn that 'Faith without works is dead being alone' Faith is to apply the principles (like keeping a commandment such as prayer, being baptized, serving others) Faith is bigger it is to walk the walk and try to do the things He is asking us to do.
@@lydiastevenson8502
Do I understand you correctly ? Faith means the actions you do from your beliefs...
@Chavah Bjork
That's what faith means to you....
But to someone else the meaning can change.
Religious people have no consistency.
@Chavah Bjork
You got three people to agree with you.... statistically it doesn't prove you right and make me wrong.
Faith is as useful as believing....
Making actions based on something you don't know for a fact is not an option I would choose to act upon.
Religion helps perpetuate bigotry and moral licensing......
Religion condones slavery, along with other violent crimes.....
Your religion leaves you vulnerable to be persuaded to make actions that are crimes against humanity.
@Chavah Bjork
The point was to start conversation....
Boom!!

😂🤣😂🤣😂
How much did this cost?
Not a penny except for the cost of gas getting from your home to there.
@@annewandering i mean how much did it cost to put this on?
@@andrewjoy08 Haha good question, don't know.
Nothing out of your pocket so what does it matter?
It cost a LOT cheaper than to build a building large enough to have all saints meet together in such a meaningful way. In other words, it was probably a thousand times cheaper to rent the place for a night, than to build a building. It was the smart thing to do, the frugal thing to do. If they met in a regular church-owned chapel then the prophet would have to hold 100 separate meetings with little small groups, and that would take way too long. In fact, it's impossible given time constraints in a world-wide church.

Dear Mormons believe this that blasphemy is the one unforgivable sin. Joseph Smith stated “I have done more than Peter, James, John even Jesus Christ himself. None of them were able to hold a church together, but I have. “
