Mark's subconscious refusal to do what the game wants him to do is so entertaining. Like the way he just refused to learn the swinging mechanic at the beginning and instead using the ladder none the wiser is just so good
Still, it's inaccessible, not only to hard of hearing folk, but also to people who have auditory processing disorder, and even just people trying to learn English from the subs, and people trying to write down dialogue accurately for whatever reason (for example citing it in a video). Chapter 1 had subtitles, why doesn't this one?
Even when I can hear the audio without someone talking over it I still have a lot of trouble figuring out what they’re saying. I know they’re making noises that sound like words but I can’t for the life of me figure out what those words are lmao
Mark playing this game is like watching someone parallel park across 3 head-in parking spots in a one-way parking lot after entering the parking lot from the wrong side, ignoring the DO NOT ENTER signs with LEDs to get you to notice the sign, and even a motion sensor connected to a siren with a voice that says "ATTENTION: YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY".

I can imagine devs tricking players they need to solve a puzzle to open a door when in reality all they need to do is walk up to it and press e on the doorknob
A puzzle is like a game that requires a specific solution. Like two shakes, a pattern, or simply completing multiple steps ( I know it's not the official definition). So I like Viva said, not really a puzzle...unless, you complete a certain pattern of things to make that puzzle complete and/or exist.

It's really interesting that the player comes back after 10 years what makes him have such a guilty conscience now I know or I believe there was a letter sent out to him but still.
I really loved the fakeout with Kissy. They cast her in shadow and even had the same music from Huggy's chase in episode one, only for Kissy to step into the light and be completely chill. I honestly hope she stays good or at least neutral, if she appears in future episodes. It's cool to see that not all of the toys turned violent.

Decided to watch Mark's playthrough after the third chapter for some nostalgia of the first chapters. But it happened to be something even better 😂 Actually I realised that I like to fuck with the environment just like Mark did at the beginning. Nostalgia hit me twice harder. Noice!
something I missed about chapters one and two is how much the main villain interacted with the player, we rarely ever saw CatNap until the end and his boss fight confused everyone

I don't know if it's possible to do that, but since DDLC can read your profile's name, maybe they could have the game read your birthdate (as you are required by steam to enter it to filter mature content) and play the appropriate voiceline for it. And if the player somehow either doesn't have a birthdate on their profile or entered an impossible date, then maybe have the cutout say "I know your birthdate ! ...wait, no, I don't" or maybe glitch out

Puzzle games really need to put a room in them with something that looks like a puzzle but is not and has no result or outcome. if the player spends more than 15 minutes on it, they get an achievement simply called "Markiplier."
this would be perfect in a game with the concept of each level being a room with a locked door, and a puzzle to unlock it, then theres a room with a difficult puzzle with no outcome (like you said) but the door is unlocked the whole time, and you only figure that out when you try using the door

I really loved the fakeout with Kissy. They cast her in shadow and even had the same music from Huggy's chase in episode one, only for Kissy to step into the light and be completely chill. I honestly hope she stays good or at least neutral, if she appears in future episodes. It's cool to see that not all of the toys turned violent.
Kissy is supposed to be the gentle one of the two, compared to her husband Huggy, who uh...yeah.

I don't know if it's possible to do that, but since DDLC can read your profile's name, maybe they could have the game read your birthdate (as you are required by steam to enter it to filter mature content) and play the appropriate voiceline for it. And if the player somehow either doesn't have a birthdate on their profile or entered an impossible date, then maybe have the cutout say "I know your birthdate ! ...wait, no, I don't" or maybe glitch out

Puzzle games really need to put a room in them with something that looks like a puzzle but is not and has no result or outcome. if the player spends more than 15 minutes on it, they get an achievement simply called "Markiplier."
this would be perfect in a game with the concept of each level being a room with a locked door, and a puzzle to unlock it, then theres a room with a difficult puzzle with no outcome (like you said) but the door is unlocked the whole time, and you only figure that out when you try using the door
