Thank you for this joyful, awesome review. I got mine delivered last week and love it.
Thank you!
I bought this keyboard because I wanted quiet switches. I like it so far, solid, good layout and nice feature set.
Awesome review. Concise while telling you everything you need to know! Subscribed!
Thank you!!
Great review bro 👍🏻
I bought Logitech MX Mechanical Mini as my daily driver for work and for my occasional gaming I have Asus ROG Falchion. Both are amazing small 75% and 65% wireless keyboards but for typing and full day's work is Logitech definitely a winner. Mainly thanks to the low-profile keys, 75% layout and connectivity to multiple devices. It's just a shame about the ABS keycaps... I've only owned the MX Mechanical Mini for a week but so far I'm very satisfied and I can recommend the purchase. It's worth the money!
If you know of PBT keycaps that are also lighted, I'd love to know about it.
Good stuff! Question bro using the flow software if you have an mx master mouse but a different keykron keyboard will the board still follow the mouse?
Excellent review. So glad to see someone review a keyboard properly instead of being a advertising hoarding. I have the Logitech G915 TKL and would have bought this to try if it wasn't for the fact that they don't have red/linear switches in the UK. I have brown /tactile switches on my G915 and the keystrokes just feel too 'slow' for my liking.
Same here in Australia, pretty odd i'd say
3:25 Nope. There is no wired mode for MX keyboards. The wire is for charging only
You are correct sir
How many keys rollover does the MX Mech support?
Great review…I’m currently trying to decide between MX keys or MX mechanical. Is there much difference? I’ve heard mixed opinions. Thx :)
Nice keyboard, but had to return it twice because of it being unstable and wobbly when using the adjustable tilt legs. There was a noticable height difference between top-right and top-left side.
My MX Mecha brown switch just arrived and I like it so much. It's my 1st mecha keyboard and it's true that it boosts my typing speed by 60% compared to my membrane keyboard :D
Sleek, comfortable, long battery life, good build quality, typing accuracy boost.
Is it worth the bucks ? YES
Money well spent hahahaha
The backlight also turns on if you touch the metal plate, even from the sides :D
Copy-paste comment :D
Thanks!..
Would love to see you review the Nuphy Air75 and comapre to Logitech MX Mechanical Mini. I have used the keychron K3 and definitely prefer the Nuphy. Great review, thank you.
Noted!
@Techkhmun, are you sure the keyboard can work in wired-mode? I had a Logitech Customer Rep tell me the MX Mechanical (probably applies to the Mini as well) only operates in wireless mode
It doesn’t
Definitely one of the most beautifully designed keyboard. My typing experience has been so amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is into getting a productivity keyboard or do casual gaming like overwatch & csgo. Rocking the Red Switch Linear keyboard (Best for gaming and typing in my opinion. 10/10 Thank you Logitech!
Thanks for sharing! I wish I could get the Red Switch in the UK keyboard layout!
Why did not turn off automatically the backlight, is there an issue?
Do the keycaps of it wear faster like g915?
The Logitech seemed to have difficulty to deliver all 3 versions of axis of keyboards to all the markets. and i had to order blue axis ones from another markets.
i had thought for quite some time before purchasing, only the blue axis ones gave the full experience of mechanical keyboards. the joy of typing is back. which had long disappeared,
This keyboard *cannot* be connected in wired mode - only bluethooth or via Logi Bolt.
03:21 Correction, you CANNOT use this keyboard in wired mode.
I would love to see a side by side with this and the max keys mini. If someone is going to invest in a Logitech wireless keyboard for the first time, which one do you recommend going with?
The mx keys mechanical would be my first choice in my opinion, it’s a better typing experience and the features are the same but it’s an extra $50 which is quite a lot for some people, I mean it’s 50% more expensive so yeh it quite hard to compare but if you have £150 then this is the keyboard I would chose
@@Techkhamun thank you! I was leaning towards the mechanical.
Why does your keyboard look wonky and different from mine? You should explain things like that…🤔
So wired mode is possible? it's weird that there are mixed information about this online.
It’s not. This dude was wrong and hasn’t corrected from what I understand.
Returned mine. The spacebar uses non standard stabilizer position, so once those cheap abs keycaps wear out, you can never swap them with third party. I contacted logitech, they dont offer replacement keycaps. If they came with pbt keycaps i might hsve kept it. Flawed to the core.
it's going to take years of typing before those keycaps wear out
To be fair though, I’ve never had to replace key caps. I’ve upgraded before coming close to replacing them.
Goodness, what spacebar jamming game are you playing around the clock?
@@t0dd000 there's no reason to use non standard stabilizer positions. Why make them proprietary? I've had a cooler master master keys mx keyboard which came with abs keycaps and they look nasty after a year or so (most keys, except maybe the function row). I guess not all abs keycaps are created equal, but there's no guarantee these ones will be any better. If I'm gonna pay 200 bucks for a keyboard I want it to last and look new for many years.
I wonder why there isnt any travel cover case for mouse / keyboard for these money...
Im in Canada and Logitech does throw in a travel case with the mouse
This could have been great if it had better quality keycaps and for that price not being hot swappable is a big point against it
How did you feel about the super-fast backlight timeout?
I've reached out to Logitech and they agree the fast timeout is unacceptable. It's not clear if/when there will be a feature added to Options+ to adjust the backlight.
I returned the MX Mechanical and MX Keys both for the same reason. It's a major design flaw that hinders usability and ruins the experience if you work in a dim or dark room.
No way Logitech agreed with that lol
Love it! Ha ha ha I love the setting us straight about the different layouts for us ugly Americans! So funny. I also like your keyboard fannery - I’m always looking for the perfect keyboard, and yet here I am with a basic Magic Keyboard 😂 nothing is just for me…but this is very compelling. Great video - glad you are back at it. Super enjoyable. 🍻👍🏽
R these optical switches...?
no
No way buy keycaps for other country layouts (portuguese in my case). That’s a bummer
It’s Apple Magic Keyboards(Apple ecosystem perks of TouchID) or this one. Mike I have to drop some cash on this damn mechanical keyboard & yes the price is too God damn high for mechanical keyboard like Flossy would say lol 😂😂😂
Cause no direct competitors provide a reliable wireless connection like Logitech. If there were one , it would be way cheaper. It is great “wireless” keyboard but those keycaps are shit and hardly find keycap replacement for now.
@@mikelo9006 probably there isn’t, but a barrier to entry mechanical keyboard ⌨️ that doesn’t cost over a lot of people’s price brackets with companies like Keychron & others that are out of people’s price nor are they willing to spend that much on something on a keyboard like that.
Have a like, sub and a nice weekend!
2:18 Logitech products are for tinkerers? Lmfao Great review though.
I said these aren’t for tinkers lol
No ANSI Layout: Fail.
Stay away from Logitech keyboards, my 250£ G915 failed just couple of days after the warranty coverage, and Logitech REFUSED to repair it, I had to trash it. Spend your money somewhere else
