The people who are in the army/military/navy, etc cannot show emotion. They are trained not to show emotion. I watched my sister graduate from the Air Force and she did not look happy. Emotionless. I was told that they were trained to not smile, not show emotion. My bf was also in the military. He said the same thing. I also watched paternity court, there was a woman in the military and she did not show much emotion at all about the situation. I didn't finish this episode of divorce court yet though haha. I mean he could very well be done with her. At the same time though, it could be the training he had to go through.
@@brittanyyoung5874 I was in the military, and they do not teach lack of emotions for every situation. They just don't. But, being deployed to a war teaches that. You could get killed being wrapped up in your emotions out there in the field. I might've been one of those dudes had I been deployed. I served during peacetime. But, I came out of the military with my emotions intact. I think people were probably that way before they served. It just amplified how they already were.

When you are depressed and have a mental issue it's easy not to understand what's happening around you. That's why it's so important to have support, he clearly saw that something was wrong and that his family needed him or have someone to help her. The misery was his in the making.
She worked three jobs before encouraging him to enlist in the Navy. He experienced some stability and then she wasn't good enough. Supporting someone and being rejected in the end has to be a devastating feeling. I wish her the best in getting her daughter back. Postpartum is real.

exactly.. and the judge had decided this dude was at fault before he said a word. He was in the Navy, deployed on a ship.. he did the right thing by having a stable family member care for his child. So many things are skipped over to damn the man, it's borderline ridiculous.

Nancy Pikul it still freaks me out that people from this show actually respond to the comments. Don't mind us here in the peanut gallery, we are just reacting based on the information presented. We only get a few minutes of a produced show to form our judgments. Don't take any of this personally.
This man has checked out and doesn't care about her. He checked out way before he left her too. All I can say is Judge Lynn was right on when he said men don't handle women's emotions very well. It's telling that statistically men are more likely to leave their wives if they deal with a disease or condition than the reverse.
Women are socialized from girl hood to take care of others and support others. Can that be said for boys?
@@rosej5029 I believe in some socialization but I think a lot of it is biological tendencies. There is a reason why 'nurturing' jobs like childcare, therapy, are women-dominating. I think women 'naturally' care more about other people's feelings, have more emotional intelligence, etc. Men tend to be more selfish.

My brother got mad that I would not put her in a nursing home, and he has cut off all communication with us for four years. I don’t want to be a nurse or caregiver. It’s not something that was ever fostered in me and I don’t enjoy it. But I love my mom and will do whatever I can to take care of her. My brother, on the other hand, loves himself. He will do whatever he can to take care of himself. I know not all men are like this, but it seems like men are, in general, more self-centered than women.

One incident like that lost her her baby permanently?! Have the hospital and courts never heard of post-partum psychosis?! It's a VERY serious condition but it happens and right about the time of her incident 2-3 days post-partum. There's something sneaky going on here that the court almost immediately gave the "family member" full and permanent guardianship.
I got post partum psychosis and this same thing happened to me. CPS told me I will not get my son back and the judge backed CPS because they lied to the judge. My caseworker was my seargents wife. The CASA worker later on told me that the caseworks get paid per child they get for the more kids they take.

He's a weak husband. Woman habe hormonal issues after pregnancy. Our hormones are spiked for 9 months all the way til the point where we are considered legally mentally ill. Then they spike again at birth to help with milk production and labor. Then the hormones levels lower over 6 to 3 months.

MaGritte McMaster to me he seems to be the one concerned...he got the child away from her and was double crossed by a relative but is still living the child ..same kinda thing happened to me as a kid...my grandparents adopted me to help my mom and themselves.....adopting me made me eligible for an SSI check that they were gonna split with mom and when I turned a certain age they were giving me back to her ....they didn't even though my mom lived with me from time to time they used the law against her...there was nothing she could do legally...he is in the same boat...my judgement is based on experience....also experience being married to an emotionally disturbed person....she is like my soon to be ex wife...she can appear normal or even like a victim but she is really irrational and unreasonable she is just very good at hiding it ...but for a little while..sooner or later ppl soon see she is unreasonable and sociopathic...I just had to leave ..like the dude said I was just tired...everyday was a conflict....if Ib was 15 mins late getting home I'm cheating..if another woman walks by I'm staring at her and she is ready to fight....if things don't her way she throws fits and makes threats.....so like me he left to live with family until he can disassociate his name and things with her...I can come off as cold him because one wrong move and she will use it against me ..If I express any kinda frustration she will use it against me ....I can tell she put him through the ringer and he just has nothing left ..like me....I am JUST getting back to feeling human and it's been almost a year

I'm with Judge Lynn on this - Frank needs a spine transplant and a therapist, stat! Nancy could use a good counselor as well - seems as though she goes 0-100 pretty fast, but she probably would have been a bit more stable if Frank had backed her more often. That "close family member" definitely sounds as if it's spelled M-O-M, because that's where he says he's living now... and I'll bet Mom wasn't crazy about Nancy from the get-go. Relationships are hard enough, but when one member can't cut those apron strings, it's always 2-on-1 and will never work.

He hands the daughter away to some family member, and now he’s taking the dog. The least he can do is let her have the dog while she’s trying to get her daughter back. That’s a lot of emotional burden for her to carry. She had a baby and suffered postpartum depression. Give her a break.🙁

Venessa Lovero airbnb is a service where people rent out their homes for a few days for a fee like a hotel but cheaper. It doesn't make sense because she said she is homeless and broke so she can't rent or rent out as a landlord or tenant. And it would be cheaper to find a long term low income house situation. Unless she is renting a box out the back of a trailer from the trailer park I don't get it.

Well said. They are messed up as one. I think there was a lot more to their story than told especially about the hospital. I think she is off mentally and got hot headed at the hospital locked herself up being a Bratz and caused chaos even threatened the staff amongst other things. So that's why CPS was going to step in and he had to make a decision quick which seemed to be the only logical decision he has ever made. I think that she didn't do what was needed to get her daughter before anything became finally. And that's real. The system does NOT want to take children from their mothers, period! So for the judge to make that decision it was a concrete reason. And they just didn't say. Something is wrong with them. I feel bad for her though. I hope she gets the hell she needs mentally and emotionally so she can live life pleasing to herself and get her daughter.

I cant believe due to her circumstances she lost her baby. Pp depression is the worst. You feel things you couldnt even imagine after giving birth to a beautiful baby. Your feel guilt for not being "normal" anguish, fear. I cant believe our justice system and our mental health, hospital officials, and her primary care doctor fail this woman. And on top of that her husband failed her miserably. My god, im horrified. This poor woman!
I’m sure there’s a lot more to this story. As for him, he has gotten complacent. You can tell he has checked out of this marriage, especially emotionally, a long time ago. Most likely he didn’t know how to deal w/ everything she was going through after having the baby. He probably has been unsupportive this whole time. As for her, she has aged during their marriage. If you look at their early pics, she looked so happy and was definitely smaller. I feel like she resents marrying someone in the military. She mentioned how she felt she lost her identity & gave things up. The problem some military spouses have is not finding things to do on their own. You have to live your life & enjoy it. You have the make the most of life. It is too short. I can’t help but wonder what really happened with their child being taken away. That has to be the worst feeling ever, to carry a baby for nine months and then it gets taken away from you. She most likely was devastated. I don’t think she ever recovered from it. Also,I’m pretty sure throughout these 10 years she has suffered at some point with depression and a lot of other emotions because of how he appears to be with her. Just an emotional. I wish them the best though. I hate seeing marriages end in divorce but when the love is gone and people stop caring, it’s time to walk away.

Frank Pikul seems to have mental health issues, and Nancy is clearly trying to address her mental health issues and/or mental illness. It's unfortunate that the family member of Frank's felt they had a right to take this child away from her parents, and cause even more anguish and stress on an already fragile marriage. It's selfish and cruel of them to do such a thing. There is a big difference between supporting your loved ones and helping them out, and completely taking over with no regard of the outcome. I hope the courts have adjusted the guardianship and both parents have equal custody of their child, or at least an appropriate amount. Also, Frank.. give the dog to Nancy, you were ordered to do so by the Judge, don't be a vindictive little boy. Be a man.

As a military man he has more pull legally, he could have called his wife at the hospital and asked the nurses to leave the room while he calmed his wife. He should have never called the cops at that hospital. He was so out of order for having his baby taken from his wife at her weakest time. Hormonal spikes happen for all 9 months to help with labor and milk production. It also take 3 to 6 months for hormonal levels to go down. Even then it take 3 years in full for a woman's body to be fully recovered from pregnancy.
What a sad situation. I truly hope she has her baby girl back with her now.

This situation is so pitiful. I believe she had the depression and he just didn't want to deal with her or it and just got his family to come in and just deal with the baby and have his problems go away. There's not a chance in hell that he didn't know there was something wrong and that they didn't need to do certain things to get their baby back. He just doesn't care, but the main problem I have is with her, she knew from jump that he didn't give a fuck and she decided to stay with him, get married with him and then have a baby with him. Then when it all blew up and he revealed himself for who he was, she wanted to have him change and be something he never was to her. That doesn't make a lick of sense at all. Let this shit be done, get a job, get your daughter back and move on. He's not worth the time or energy.

Wish this could be anonymous but I have to say something. My daughter knew Nancy prior to the marriage. Nothing has changed in her manipulative behavior as far as I can see. He is a saint people to have lasted this long! Nancy was basically disowned by his family prior to marriage and he knew this, not going to a birthday party is no new idea. His family is the most stable of the bunch. They are very strong, cut and dry type people from what I understand and are able to provide everything the child needs. Taking the child directly from the hospital seems harsh but you will never know the whole story of what is going on in the background with these two. I think he will do fantastic without Nancy and power to him!

I was not disowned by his family prior to the marriage his mother was very close to us and we are working on repairing our relationship. Me a frank are also back together and are doing well everything that happened as pertained in the show was three years prior . We did the show with the promise of counseling and for other reasons . I shouldn't even respond to this but I figured I would clear the air . All that happened was a least a year prior to the show and it's heavily scripted . We are happy and very much together . This is where you step cross the line in taking my child without my permission. I would have you arrested and then make sure that you do not come back in the hospital with no obligations. You didn't consult me in taking the child and you thought that you were doing something that was legal. No, you step the wrong path..
