I love how each character's theme convey's so much about them. Kagome's theme is chipper, upbeat, but beautiful and soothing. Inuyasha's theme is strong, bold, and builds towards a heroic climax that makes you go "Hell yeah!" Naraku's theme is insidious and fluctuates between a sense of creeping danger and bombastic arrogance. But Sesshomaru's? Is theme starts off quiet and haunting, like a specter on the moors. It's also rather measured and controlled, occasionally reaching moments where it might cut loose but never doing so. But then in the second version it gets strong and powerful, along with the chanting in the background almost like a chorus announcing the arrival of a great lord. It evokes fear but also a sense of overwhelming awe, as if you're overwhelmed by its very presence. A rather perfect encapsulation of Sesshomaru as a character
"Let's see if a half-breed can even wield the Tetseiga... I myself shall be the witness!" Sesshomaru has been and always will be my anime crush. He has the best development arc throughout the series.
I have listened to this and the Yashahime one and I love the contrast. This sounds like an elegant beast with full control of its natural great power. The yashahime one sounds like a child trying to control this power but losing control.
Okay. This is amazing! I just wish you included either "Sesshomaru vs Kyoura I" or the Yashahime version of "Demon Sesshomaru" as both are nearly the same song. Both are just boosted version of Inuyasha's version of "Demon Brother Sesshomaru".
