One of the thing that I keep seeing in your driving videos and that amazes me is drivers just slowing down to allow another driver to change lane. In North America, that's usually not going to happen. You either end up having to slow down and fall in behind, or force your way in if traffic is heavy. I just love how polite Japanese drivers are.
I have been living in the suburban area of Yokohama for 40 years and I am very happy to hear the comment. Minato-Mirai district has changed a lot since it started development of the area in 1985 or so .
I didn't hear a single honk, I did not see a single road rage driver. Learn, rest of the world learn! (India)... And Tokyo is the largest city on planet Earth.
This is a great scenic driving video.👌 I use to live in Yokohama over 30 years ago and it look so different now (a lot of new wonderful upscale buildings), However, I would love to see the scenic drive on Route 16 from Tokyo to Yokohama into Chinatown. This is such a pleasant city drive in God's own country, Japan. What's even more surprising is to see Tokyo roads look like boulevards with 3 to 4 lanes. I didn't know it was possible there. If you took an Expressway to cover the same distance, how long will it take you to hit Yokohama city? As always, your excellence turns this trip into a great experience, as if I was there. Could you please report which camera and lens you used? The camera is fixed behind the windshield, isn't it? How do you avoid reflexes in the lens? Thank you if you can answer. I would like to understand how you get great images.
I think the reason is that in Japan there is few apartment complex like those seen in communist countries. You will often see such a lot of commies type apartment buildings in Seoul, Korea, as in many Chinese cities.

I think the reason is that in Japan there is few apartment complex like those seen in communist countries. You will often see
such a lot of commies type apartment buildings in Seoul, Korea, as in many Chinese cities.
その理由は、無断駐車が少ない、街路樹が整っている、道路がフラットでよくメンテナンスされている、薄汚れたビルが少ない、歩道も緑地帯と共によく整備されている、、などなど。中国、韓国に限らず、他のアジア諸国も同じですが、こららのことがきちんとなされていないからです。
