Synopsis:
A story about a forbidden romance that has weathered ten lifetimes and endured a thousand years of waiting. Set in the ancient era, Zuo Xiang, an official from the Great Yan, colludes with the enemy and causes the demise of his own kingdom. Fu Jiuyun rescues the Yan princess from harm. After witnessing her people being enslaved, the princess now known as Qin Chuan makes a vow to save them as she embarks on a search for the spiritual lamp. Qin Chuan and Fu Jiuyun fall in love, but they soon discover that Fu Jiuyun is the lamp wick needed to ignite the spiritual lamp and that he will disappear along with the person who lights the lamp. They decide to sacrifice themselves to save people of the world. Qin Chuan’s cousin lights the lamp, as a result, Fu Jiuyun disappear. Qin Chuan miss Fu Jiuyun, she touches the lamp, Heaven is been moved by their cordiality, they finally meet again, and willingly embrace their fates.

I feel sorry for Zichuan. He loves the princess so much, but because of his father rebellion, that make him impossible to be with the princess. Beside he get blind because of the princess yet he feel deserved it because of his father sin. Such a pitiful character.

Well to me I won’t blame her because at that time she was so shocked and heartbroken which made her reacted impulsively which would have happened to any normal human being in her situation

Children often have no control over nor can influence what their parents do; sometimes they are completely unaware of their actions. I've seen the old adage, "Sins of the father are visited upon the children" a lot in some dramas & they always seem to have a tragic ends 😟
@Priscilla W , I still don't blame her to some extent, the boy was at the wrong place at the wrong time.... The girl had just witness a gruesome murder of her parents and brother, in the hand of the supporting ML father, at that moment she isn't going to be seeking the true esp as there are dead bodies everywhere, he should be lucky, she didnt slice him open at that point and remember, his father's comrades (his bodyguard) were urging him to kill her, that, that what his father would want), in that instant, who do you think she would believe.... Nonetheless the Supporting ML doesn't blame her and see it as a repayment for his father's action... It's a pity she found out the truth late, and it's still not an excuse, she needs to apologize for what she did to him

I believe she does regret hurting him but she won't allow herself to think to much on it as for his father's corruption her whole country, family and its were wiped out. Also her cousin has been in love with him or longed for him... I believe she held jealousy of her cousin and wanted whatever she had. I also feel maybe she also helped and played apart in shady things possibly. She can't risk being discovered so despite them being close she can't allow herself to get closer she has her own mission find the lamp and seek justice or retribution for her people... bring the corrupted and evil doing to light and bring them down...
Liu Yitong was with Zhao Lusi in Love Better Than Immortality as her best friend, seeing them together, I'm not used to seeing them as "lovers" 😂

The cousin must have "really suffered". The imperial family all died beside the lead, all their people are either runaways or slaves, but she is somehow beside the rebellion leader's son, even her clothes look more luxurious and she suddenly holds the title she didn't have before the country's fall. Everything about her just screams collaborator.
I was going post this exact statement. Right? How did the cousin suffer? She got everything she wanted, to be a princess and be beside the man she loves.
But did Xuanzhu "collaborated"? She Kinda did, maybe to survive idk yet at this point episode.. she had a choice to die with her family or live.
