BTK killer Dennis Rader gave a dramatic, televised confession on June 27, 2005 in which he described killing 10 people. This is the complete, unabridged version.
So many of these killers seem completely normal, that is the hard part, determining whom you can trust. My life experience has shown me everybody including your family and loved ones will lie to you and eventually betray you
There must be more hours in a day in this guy's universe. He worked for Cessna, went to college, installed security systems, was a husband and a father, was a church leader, a dog catcher, a scout leader, photographer, poet, crossdresser, stalker and serial killer. I just work and take care of my kids, and I don't have time to even talk to people.
Read his daughter Kerri Rawsons book…His wife basically raised the kids. He was away a lot and during those nights away “for work” or cub scouts he would murder people.
His wife took care of him extremely well…he always had a hot meal waiting at home..Kerri says her mom would wait up for him and didn’t eat..to push hunger away she ate Ritz crackers while he was on the prowl…. She did his laundry and took care of the home front so he could “travel for work” etc..poor woman
Just remember, this man installed the security alarms for people that were afraid of BTK. He also drove his church group home when curfew was established so they'd feel safer knowing they'd get home safe, never knowing the man driving them and installing their security was the man who was on the killing spree.....
ThorneSC he used to dress up like the victims and reconstruct the murder scenes and take photos of himself . He had this really creepy female mask he would wear . The pics are on the internet and they are really creepy
Psychilogist Dr. Brodsky said that the attention (before capture) was a good thing: :Are we falling into his hands by showing him his attention? The reality is, if we do not show him this attention, he is going to do something diabolical.
Well, the way he got caught it was as if he was asking for it.Then again,if he wasn't caught that way and continued he's killing spree he would probably be found out and arrested.
Why is everyone in the comments surprised that he has no emotion??? He got off on watching people die slowly. If he started crying I wouldn't believe him anyway.
This is absolutely chilling. He is so calm and thoughtful in his responses and recollection. He could be anyone's neighbor, friend, Dad, uncle, or co-worker. And yet, the horrors he inflicted on these poor people. We will never be able to comprehend a mind like this.
Yeah it's really the fact that the murders are so horrific that we expect the guy to act like the monster he is but when he shows such calmness he seems like a normal person and us normal people can't comprehend that.
Think of it as a addiction with thrill and excitement involved. Example. Some people get horny and can't control the feeling of that so they either get off by themselves or with another person. BTK is the same thing except with sick violence he can't controll that urge or feeling he gets like a crackhead getting his high for the first time.
13:22 This just sends shivers down my spine it’s unbelievable. You can hear how this particular murder of Kathryn Bright still pains him to this day. Cause in his mind she should have been tied up and strangled to death, but her brother Kevin Bright somehow managed to escape and therefore he had to stab her to death and quickly get out of the house. He did not get his usual sexual gratification this time and it still annoys him to this day. You can tell on his face how his inner demons are trying to show their true colors but somehow he managed to keep a straight face. Dennis Rader was true evil in disguise.
I know right!!!!??? She pretty upset what was going on...I mean I was only there to rape and kill her...why would she get upset about that? Lol..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
correct. similar to the police telling you never to get in the car with a bad person by that i mean, if someone pulls a gun on you and says, "get into my car" chances are likely you will never be seen alive. police statistics not mine.
It's better to try fight even if you do die. Scratch the face and leave as much mess as you can which may help get them caught sooner hopefully. Sounds morbid but true. DNA under your finger nails, leave marks on them. You never know you may get away. One of Ted Bundy's survivors got away by trying.
in THIS case the people that fought back survived. depends on the profile of the person who comes into your house uninvited. in the richard ramirez case, the women that fought back were killed. most women that complied were not. its a tough call....
Sometimes I believe some people are just born evil. This is unreal. His daughter just did an interview discussing the Idaho murder. Definitely worth watching.
I think people can be born psychopaths, but I don't think we can be born evil. If baby Hitler was given to a different family, he wouldn't have done what he did.
I could not watch this whole thing. He was scaring the bejeezus out of me and I know he's locked up. I watched her interview about when she found her father was BTK just yesterday.
Just saw that interview with her. So rare to have a family member of a serial killer tell what life was like before and after the atrocities are discovered. His daughter is a brave woman. She is determined to not let this define her life - she is married and has children of her own.
I just realized something...BTK would comfort his victims beforehand, telling him he was on the run and just needed a car. Kohberger (it's believed to have been him but i guess it could've been Ethan but i doubt it) said "it's ok I'm going to help you" to presumably Xana. I wonder if he got this idea from BTK?
I'm not sure there's ever been evidence of someone being "born evil". People like this generally have a history of trauma, or a head injury/illness. Sometimes no trauma was obvious, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. There is always a backstory.
@@ninjawitharocketlauncher7230 No this was in 2005. His trial took place in 2005 after he got caught earlier that year. He was actively killing from 1974 to 1991. He starting sending taunting letters again to police in 2004 and they were able to find him in February 2005 because he accidentally left where he worked and it said last edited by Dennis on a floppy disk he sent. They were then able to find out that a Dennis Rader worked at Christ Lutheran Church and saw that his vehicle was the same black Jeep Cherokee they saw in a surveillance video from when he dropped off a package.
Amazing how he spends so much time describing himself being kind - by making the father’s binds more comfortable because he had a cracked rib & putting a pillow down for him. Even in that court with the whole world knowing what he did & how sick he is - he believes his “acts of kindness” are worthy of mentioning.
I don't think he was trying to make himself look good. He had to tell exactly what happened (i.e. the pillow) because it must correlate directly with the evidence found on the crime scene and in the autopsies. At this point in the trial, it was already clear to everyone including himself that he was going to jail for life. No point in lying or skewing the facts when the evidence is clear as day.
He did those "acts of kindness" to make his victims feel more like if they do what he says he will let them go, false hope. Little did they know he was going to kill them regardless.
32:27 man, imagine how absolutely awful her male friend feels to this day knowing that he could have prevented this if he had just stayed. Hope he’s doing okay.
This was so horrific . He is dicribeing this crime like just another day at the office .That's what makes it so creepy. I'm sorry for all those victims and the family members .
That’s what kept getting me at one point he even said one of the victims “got a little upset” LITTLE? No one was happy to see this man returning from work they all were upset we know
And how the first family he says he tried to make the dad as comfortable as possible because he had hurt himself. He says the families and victims are upset a lot too like huh? The way he deserves everything like you can easily picture every second these families endured in the hands of this bastard!
"I got her a glass of water, comforted her a little bit and then I went ahead and tied her up and put a bag over her head and strangled her." That has to be the most bizarre sentence I've ever heard someone say.
He is being unemotional towards an evil and pleasurable act (in his perspective). If you take your emotions away, he is reasonably explaining why he did what he did.
i’m watching this bc i saw they mentioned it when talking about the Idaho murder case and this is so scary. imagine how terrified his poor victims were , especially him telling them he was going to do this first:( i’m makes my stomach turn

Imagine being a Lawyer for this monster. You have to wonder if it's a smart career move to be helping in any way to such a devious, dangerous and disturbed individual.
It's a great career move. You're telling other employers that you can put aside personal emotional in order to complete your job and perform under untold amounts of pressure. It's not a case they'll win, but that's not what defence is about, it's about ensuring a fair trial.
@@HomoLegalMedic Yeah, but Rader’s lawyer lucked out with his desire to plead guilty. If he had to actually put on a defense in court, he would have been hating it, heh.
@@HomoLegalMedic I’ve always felt bad for the attorney who had to defend Kevin Knoefel. The evidence was so incredibly clear against his client, but he had to get up in front of the court room and provide a defense anyway. But I was thinking that maybe it’s like, they never held it against him, as any other attorney would clearly know what a shit job he was given with that case. over 50 serial killers roam the usa today. they don't look like the monsters on tv they look like your neighbors. i have a few that i suspect could be.
its because these serial killers pray on the weak. And let their thoughts take over their life, explains why most of them go after females or young children. because theyd be scared to meet their match
There's a difference, the tough guy does that everywhere but these guys wouldn't get away with it because they'd get beaten up. I even think the words used to make them sound like "predators" is too nice to them. They pick on people who don't see it coming for the most part. They're scavengers at best
Foxtrot Hotel you’re right. People like this don’t keep on the act because they need to hide in plain sight. And I never liked that phrase either: Predators is wrong... vultures is more like it.
Not really he didnt like it, he feels judged, you can tell he was just doing this to forfill his fantasies, because of the fact that he put a pillow under the guys head and loosened the ties.
Well he is talking about his passion. I have no problem talking about the things I like. I can barely remember the simplest things, but I can quote my favorite lines in a book, movie, show, with perfect recall. Basically the same thing, except he enjoyed cumming to the strangulation of others. So of course he would remember the moments he received pleasure from.
@@onlyplayaseattacoswiththei9433 He talks facts. Radar's passion is B. T. K. and stalking. As cruel as it seems, because we know passion usually is shared and brings joy,- this is the dark side. We could also call it obsession, but Radar doesn't struggle with it. Instead, he enjoys it. Therefore, the word "passion" is correctly used.
@@onlyplayaseattacoswiththei9433 why is that guy a piece of shit? Hes right. BTKs mind is definitely messed up completely. Whats fascinating is how someone this screwed up managed to live a successful life outside of the only thing he ever desired, which happened to be the worst desire someone can have. Imagine keeping a huge secret all your life never telling a soul. Im sure he went over this moment of confession a million times in his mind. Hes also a highly organized person. The perfect recall is unsurprising.
He's probably replayed the memory in his head so many times that he could probably still recount every detail, even all these years later. These kinds of guys get off on this shit
@@onlyplayaseattacoswiththei9433 Not everyone is born to be what society considers "normal". Spectrums exist to display that even the most extreme likely hood of something existing has a possibility of becoming reality.
I was thinking the same thing. just like when he says he gave his victims a cigarette or blanket. He wants us to think he's not a monster, rather just a man with strange sexual desires...
This dude was pure evil. So cold and callused as if human life meant nothing. The only emotion I think he felt at this time was that he enjoyed reliving his crimes in public. The way he describes them like they were just routine daily events is sickening
@@malamute4793 yeah, but you also probably didn't create a whole secret life to live out these things and they probably weren't fantasies of yours either. He probably does relive these murders in his head, That's why some serial killers keep mementos, after all.
When he is recalling the Otero murders, and recalls where the son was lying on the floor, he looks down like he is looking down at the boy. That moment is absolutely being replayed by him right in front of us.
Watching this, you can tell, he’s LOVING every second he’s allowed to recount this. He’s the star of the show allowed to share his “great acts”. I’m glad we have this to learn from, but there is a part of me that wants this destroyed so that not even metaphysical satisfaction cannot be his.
BigBadWolf Personally I’m just analyzing. I know he’s not capable of remorse. In any case it’s fascinating. (And yes I have an interest in these individuals but I never forget about the victims).
Normal?? He is a total weirdo!! It looks like he doesn’t know how a normal person would recount it, so he tries to act what he thinks is “normal”. But to everyone else, it is totally off.
I read that they know empathy so well that they use it to manipulate and kill. So they understand it and have it, they just use it for really fucked up reasons. And that actually makes sense.
@@theoldblood3804 he had empathy. He was a sadist. He enjoyed inflicting pain. The part where he says one of his victims threw up and he got her water to comfort her is sadist behavior.
Yes but he wouldent have murded them if he wouldent have enjoyed the binding and torture. He dident want to leave any witness alive that could identify him 😢
29:14 , the way the Judge says "alright" really lets know how not alright he was hearing all this. Imagine having to remain fair, impartial and hear this mans horrific story. When hearing someone recall these events like a shopping list its indescribable, disturbs me deeply that someone could be this damaged and remain calm. He even extended comfort to his victims ensuring them they would be okay, what a real sick man. At one point he speaks of his "trolling" and describes the stages "serial killers" almost excluding himself and what "they" go through when choosing a victim. That all said, we should bring back the death penalty in all states for active shooters, that is what seems to be plaguing our society at the moment. They need to know they are not going to get a 60 minutes special, just the needle.
The horrific way he matter of fact knows all the names of his victims and speaks of them with a personal correlation as if he had relationships with them is bone chilling, psychopathy at it's best, implausible! Evil has face value.
I used to work in a prison as a guard. I spent 8 hours a day talking to guys like this. The scariest thing about some of these monsters is that they are likable. Seriously it messes you up. You find out what they are really in there for and you're like shit I kinda liked that guy. What the hell is wrong with me? There's nothing wrong with you. They are like that by design.
They are people too with hopes dreams, emotions personalities and feelings. We seem to look at these people separate from us. Like they are not from this world. This guy's other life was a church going, working family man. He had a lot of respect and was well liked. This doesn't stop him from being a dangerous predator scumbag. We can humanise these people whilst still recognising the actions they took.
@@19822andy sure. In Dennis Rayder's case one of his hopes and dreams was killing a family and hanging a 12 year old girl by the neck so he could masterbate while she strangled to death. They may have hopes and dreams but that doesn't make them human.
@@19822andy no I understood it completely. I don't and will never look at these monsters as human. The fact that Dennis Rader went to church and was respected by his community. That was by design on his part to blend in. Not because he had a good side. There are monsters that are pure evil on this Earth. If you think he can be helped then go and get him released and have him babysit your kids. I mean after all he did some terrible things, but he did go to Church.
The moral is this: if you are attacked determine instantly to get away or die fighting. NEVER EVER allow yourself to be abducted or tied up to avoid violence because the moment you do then you are dead already. Attackers are cowards looking for victims, dont be one, they are never looking for a fight and half he time if you give them one they will flee for their lives.
I believe this is what law enforcement officials say, not to be taken to a second location. I also believe you were giving very good advice fighting to get away, it may just work
Yup, once listened to an expert on the subject say exactly this. Do the opposite of what they want. They say "shut up" you scream. They say "stop" you run. They say "don't struggle" you fight as hard as you can. A lot of these guys don't necessarily enjoy killing, but what happens before. Killing is a way to ensure no witnesses.
I love how you get the worst shot of him, facial expressions and eyes, to make these thumbnails- hahaha. Just found your channel- subscribed thank you for your work.
The epitome of a monster. Calculated, thought out, no remorse, He recalls every moment vividly, even going back a recanting his story for accuracy. He wanted to let people know that he had a level of compassion and thoughtfulness, even though the end result ending in these people demise. This man is unassuming and would never be given a second thought. That is what makes him even more disturbing. My fear is there are more people like him walking among us.
Is the fact that he played pranks to police and investigators. He placed serial boxes with letters and crossword puzzle’s and even put a doll on one of them and mimic the 11year old
He was precise and patients and proud of his work, not to mention he was a father and part of a church. He really played his part. He even installed security camaras for people to prevent the BTK killer not knowing it was him. Imagine u invite a killer to your home to install camaras to prevent the same killer
The reason he was so dangerous is because he was so calm and showed some acts of kindness so the people complied and didn’t think he would actually kill them. Crazy
Much can be learnt from this individual. The vast amount of atrocities he committed is sickening and his recall is frightening. The horror the victims must have gone through is unimaginable. The arrogance of BTK ultimately brought BTK down, the irony is not lost on me.
I first learned about this killer from the show “MindHunter” cause he was trying to fight his urges and keep his wife on the show and then i saw this 💀
He said "if I had brought my things he'd be dead" in reference to the brother victim who survived. You can see his arrogance right there. The victim survived too shots to the head but BTK wants to make sure the victim gets no credit for surviving. As if saying, he was not better than me, he just got lucky. Disgusting POS.
The fact that there have been so many serial killers in history is a frightening point in common: *most of them seemed normal.* This guy is a complete maniac and puzzling behavior. How many demons like him are out there and we don't know yet, it's a shame.
It is such a surprise to me how calmly he can regurgitate all the details. Did BTK suffer from numbness, an inability to feel? It would explain why he went to such extremes - possibly so he could feel something.
pinkpugginz they were also all women besides Mr.Otero in his first killings but he didn’t expect him to be there. He got his rocks off by watching women die slowly
Allot of people are scared most about killers who just randomly kill (it’s all scary to me) but I most fear someone you’ve known your whole life like your spouse, or mother/ brother etc killing you, being a whole diff person you’ve known. Sleeping with the killer is terrifying to me.
Yeah that would be a legit question: "So aaaah Mr. BTK... let me ask you this, and take your time as you really want to get your answer right to this question, you can of course choose to consult with your attorney if you like - so what is the deal with your eyebrows? They look somewhat guilty to me, are you sure that they weren't part of planning these horrendous crimes?"
He’s loving all this attention! The questioning is creating another fascination! BTK is looking happy as he explains! He’s on stage! OMG! He’s like proud like bragging what he did!
The terms he keeps using "I call it my..." , "it's called...." . He clearly had the time to study serial killers, and make up terms for his fan club. This guy is probably getting off in his cell for making his name in history.
That's psychopathy for your low arousel, chemical brain imbalance these types of individual have to do heinous things to feel "excitement" and satisfied their deviant sexual behaviors
By the time he's talking to the judge he's already told his story to the cops, his attorney, the prosecution attorney, etc. And it's a guarantee that each of them said the same thing at least twice. They all said "Now let's go over this again".
Everybody's talking about BTK but nobody mentioning how ridiculously, extremely professional this judge was during this process. A true agent of justice, never losing his cool or raising his voice, just evaluating facts and delivering a sentence.
@@karadawn420 I wouldn't say he was fond of him. His judge knew bundy was a narcissist so to insult him he needed to compliment him first and then lead into more of a suggestion rather than an outright insult to make bundy reflect and realize he was a failure.
When I became a police officer in 1998, the FBI estimated there was about 300 active serial killers that haven't been caught in the United States. I checked again late last year and that number had risen to 2,000. In my small area alone, they've apprehend 3 of these guys and at least one is still out there somewhere. This world is lost and broken and it's only getting worse.
He had to confess in court as part of his guilty plea. Her advice was pretty pointless, because the only reason it would matter is if he ever went up for parole, which was irrelevant in his case. Plus this guy thrived on attention. He is desperate for it today, but he's forbidden from doing interviews.

"It's ok. I'm going to help you.", said what is believed to be Bryan Kohberger to Xana. Wonder if he got that idea from BTK, to "calm her" so she was more cooperative? Then, the whole trolling then stalking thing...I wonder if Bryan had multiple people he had in mind as possible targets and like btk, watched them and decided which target would be the easiest and made his decision that way? I have so many questions bc I do see some similarities between BTK and Bryan Kohberger's actions. "Trolling" is basically just going into the community and watching people to see if anyone strikes your fancy as a victim... that's almost as creepy as stalking one person. So then, he finds people that he "likes", so to speak and starts stalking them to see their patterns, to make a decision on who would make the easiest target!!! Like how freakin scary!! What's even more weird/creepy is that none of those people will ever know they were on his "trolling list" but just didn't look easy enough to make his victim list. ::shudder:: Stay aware of your surroundings, people! If you see a person/car frequently it might not just be coincidence. Keep that head out your phone when in public.
This guy lives in his own sadistic world he made up in his head. You can tell he's so excited, and even proud to tell everyone about it. Im glad the police caught him the way they did. Popped that inflated ego like a baboon with a balloon. Thoughts and prayers for the families affected
I dunno if I would honestly wanna be present for something of this magnitude. This is a whole other level. My morbid curiosity would drive me to it but I'd probably regret it tbh.
All I know is that if I was one of the family members and I was sitting there listening to him describing how he desecrated one of my family members I swear to god I would have jumped climbing as fast as I could possibly get to him and would have taken all the police present to subdue me. But I know that I totally would’ve ruined his 15mins of fame for a few and shut his bitch ass up.

+Erlyk Dalkien I watch because I'm fascinated that BTK and MANY OTHERS are capable of the heinous crimes they've committed. I'm even more fascinated because a lot of these crimes were in the 80s and if you really think about it prospectively, the 80s was not a long time ago. I couldn't imagine living in this day and having the same fears as Americans then.
His weird calm demeanor about the horrific events and the way he talks about this, it’s like he was going to a grocery store picking out dinner for that day. Absolutely disturbing but intriguing about his memories and details he explains. The mind can be a terrible thing I guess….
Everyone talks about how calm he is but I think thats not it. Its is more like he is a total weirdo and don’t know how to act normal. His expressions are totally weird and not normal especially his eyes and brows. The way he talks, resembles an unhappy clown 😅
He killed a mother of a son. The boy was closed into the bathroom by BTK. The boy said 30 years later, that he watched trough a hole in the door how BTK strangled his mother: „I wished i had not watched through the door. I was not talking for two years afterwards“ The boy survived because the phone was ringing all the time and BTK got nervous..
It's evident he'd practiced and fantasized this moment in his head for years. Getting national attention in the court and being asked about his wrong doings.
A lot of people in the comments don't seem to grasp the fact that this guy is a psychopathic narcissist. He literally thrives on telling these stories as he gets to relive every moment. People saying they're shocked by how calm the guy explains everything....he has no remorse and is probably proud of what he did. It's how their brains are wired.
@@ThecrazyJH96 Well comparing him to other serial killers I've come across I think most develop into serial killers. For example Jeffrey Dahmer has some similarities to Rader. They both had seemingly normal childhoods but both started killing animals at early ages. Dahmer said in interviews that he wanted to see what the innards of his victims looked like but he didn't enjoy actually killing them. So not all serial killers actually enjoy killing but the one thing I've noticed about all the serial killers I've come across is that they all have some sort of sexual motive about what they're doing. All this makes sense as to why they start having fantasies around the time of puberty. Obviously every guy has sexual fantasies but the thing that is different about the serial killers is that their sexual fantasies include violence. The more they fantasize the more it manifests and I believe because they have these thoughts when they're teenagers their minds are not fully developed so it turns into an obsession that consumes them until they experiment with it. Having said all this there's a lot of components needed to be a serial killer. A lot of people have some of the same traits serial killers do without actually becoming one. For me it's the sexual motive that is the key which is why imo people develop into serial killers. But obviously genetic traits play a role too.

Ah yes I can begin to understand why his victims expressed they were upset. Makes sense!

Yes! So agree. Your comment is what i always thouth and i think this is the point of everything.
It makes me sad the guy was already in pain & then to be strangled on top of that :(

Hell of a sales pitch, ADT.

BTK: I'm not in danger Skyler, I am the danger!
It is such a surprise to me how calmly he can regurgitate all the details. Did BTK suffer from numbness, an inability to feel? It would explain why he went to such extremes - possibly so he could feel something.
Best explanation so far
The scariest and most disturbing thing about this story is the complete randomness of the selection of victims. Could have been anyone.
Creeps me out Everytime 😅
They were neighbors and people at his church. Not random.
pinkpugginz they were also all women besides Mr.Otero in his first killings but he didn’t expect him to be there.
Mostly women
What’s with the eyebrows, thats what i wanna know.
VOD Nurse I’m sorry he didn’t get them done in time.
MySecretMachine lol at that! They DO look like they could have planned BKTs adventures in killing.
That's were his urges if they cut them off he has no urge to kill lol
He’s part Rottweiler
He’s loving all this attention! The questioning is creating another fascination! BTK is looking happy as he explains! He’s on stage! OMG! He’s like proud like bragging what he did!
The terms he keeps using "I call it my..." , "it's called...." . He clearly had the time to study serial killers, and make up terms for his fan club. This guy is probably getting off in his cell for making his name in history.
How is it possible that this man looks bored of his own murders?
That's psychopathy for your low arousel, chemical brain imbalance these types of individual have to do heinous things to feel "excitement" and satisfied their deviant sexual behaviors

He is trying to look bored, but actually he is enjoying telling this things, he waited for this opportunity his whole life!
These guys are dead inside.... that's how they are able to do what they do.... he called them his projects... didn't even see them as human.
By the time he's talking to the judge he's already told his story to the cops, his attorney, the prosecution attorney, etc. And it's a guarantee that each of them said the same thing at least twice. They all said "Now let's go over this again".
The judge sounds like the character who plays Bill Tench, kinda freaky!

Everybody's talking about BTK but nobody mentioning how ridiculously, extremely professional this judge was during this process. A true agent of justice, never losing his cool or raising his voice, just evaluating facts and delivering a sentence.
Ya props to the judge this is as prefect as you can expect a judge to be.

Agree. I thought this shortly into the video. Hell bundys judge was found of him and even criticized him.

This world is lost and broken and it's only getting worse.

defense attorney: "God, this is the worst client ever..."
He had to confess in court as part of his guilty plea. Her advice was pretty pointless, because the only reason it would matter is if he ever went up for parole, which was irrelevant in his case.
Kohberger studied under Katherine Ramsland.
This guy lives in his own sadistic world he made up in his head. You can tell he's so excited, and even proud to tell everyone about it. Im glad the police caught him the way they did. Popped that inflated ego like a baboon with a balloon. Thoughts and prayers for the families affected
Bet you like bundy
And they used his daughters DNA to compare. The 2 things really got to him. Lol
imagine the tension in the room while a serial killer confesses everything that he has done for the past 3O years...
Ya... how many people there are itching to take the law into their own hands
I dunno if I would honestly wanna be present for something of this magnitude. This is a whole other level. My morbid curiosity would drive me to it but I'd probably regret it tbh.
Wow I'm so fucking sorry I had no clue this was 05 I could've sworn they got him in the 90s but idk much about BTK so my bad lol
idk how nobody jumped out at him to try to kill him.
I honestly feel sort of disgusted that I am even watching this. Edit: Holy shit! I just found out my birthday is exactly the same as his daughters. I know that shouldn't mean a fucking thing....but it hit me weirder.

+Erlyk Dalkien well i feel alot more safe to be near people like you who watch this then i do near people who watch kardashian shows
+Erlyk Dalkien I watch because I'm fascinated that BTK and MANY OTHERS are capable of the heinous crimes they've committed.
Psychopath/ narcissist
He is empty.
I was not talking for two years afterwards“
The boy survived because the phone was ringing all the time and BTK got nervous..
It's evident he'd practiced and fantasized this moment in his head for years. Getting national attention in the court and being asked about his wrong doings.
He wanted to go down in the books
He’s been blotted out from the book of life by his creator in heaven, he shall perish with the Satan..now put that in thought
Fr he knew that this would be viewed by millions
A lot of people in the comments don't seem to grasp the fact that this guy is a psychopathic narcissist. He literally thrives on telling these stories as he gets to relive every moment. People saying they're shocked by how calm the guy explains everything....he has no remorse and is probably proud of what he did. It's how their brains are wired.
Wilzy Wonder if he was born that way or life events changed his mindset
@@veryincredibly are u saying you looked up on this or you just watched mindhunter aha
@@guswinter-giles9319 Both.
@@iamjeona Right. But notice that he sighs when explaining the fallout of killing a victim. I doubt he enjoyed cleaning up his mess and moving bodies around. The parts he enjoyed were killing and whatever sexual activities he did.
Rader says with DISGUST, “I didn’t stay there and watch him, I was moving around the room,” as if he was SOO offended and above anything as such!! As if, watching Mr. Otero struggle was worse than these other atrocities he committed. Unbelievable!
He did watch though, there were imprints in the carpet from him sitting in a chair watching.
I've always been curious to know what his lawyers are whispering him the whole time. He's up there fully confessing to the murders and they still have things they're advising him not to say (I'm assuming at least)
