Very good set... I think the venue is in San Francisco
I want to thank you so much for posting these wonderful performances for all to cherish.
You are doing such a wonderful job and I am so thankful to you.

People need to know about this
Thanks for all these great recordings Take. On this one, if I recall correctly, Paul's Saloon, owned by Paul Lampert was In SF not LA. I think it closed in 1991. It was in the Marina district and was home to many great bluegrass concerts.
You are correct, I went there many times why on call in SFO, met the guys from Hight Country and Steve Pottier, great times, golden memories!
I think this is their best set thats available. I've listened to A LOT of JDs groups this year, and I think this was the pinnacle
JD’s second break up the neck on salty dog blues was NASTY 🤣
Guitar break on Cripple Creek!
Take - Did you take down the JD and the Kentucy Mountain Boys w/ Red Allen at Camp Springs? I can't find it anymore.
Hi, Dave. Is this the one you're referring to? czcams.com/video/BURXCDmcD2Y/video.html :-) Take
